Usually relatively safe. Our dumb ass cocky waiter assured us gluten free, did not make note came back with gf Pozuki with regular ice cream on top. We didn’t know the gf ice cream should have come pre wrapped according to the manager after I got sick and question the product. The waiter should be suspended for his cocky attitude and should have to attend Gf training in my opinion. If a restaurant is going to promote it they better make sure there waiters take this shit seriously.
They will give you a gluten free menu if you ask, 2 to 3 pages, then the rest tells of what is in everything for allergy reasons. I have been diagnosed with celiac disease and I am going through chemotherapy. I ate a gluten free chicken dish, and a gluten free salad that tasted good. I had a rash and a stomach ache the next day but that could be from chemotherapy, so I am rating this unsure for know. Disappointing the half price pizza Monday does not include their gluten free pizzas which are 10 inches and cost $17.50 for chicken and mushroom.
I really liked the gluten free pizza. The broccoli cheddar soup was yummy and it was nice to get a gluten free creamy soup since so many creamy soups I find contain gluten. Definitely will be back. Tried the gluten free chocolate chip pizookie. Not great but not bad.
The pizza is actually pretty good, but I didn't seem to find many other gfree options on the menu.
I had the same experience as the other reviewer before but when I went back and asked them to be extra careful it was fine. Shouldn't need to tell them to be extra careful but it is what it is. Pizza is good though!
The gf pizza is really good .. However, I have gotten sick a few times. make sure you inform the server of your allergy so they can make extra sure it doesn't get contaminated.
I ordered from the gluten free menu, specified that I have celiac and was told the GF meals were prepared away from gluten to prevent cross contamination. It was pretty good food but that night and the next day I felt so sick. I really can’t say what it might have been but I will not be eating there again.
I have eaten here many times and have not been sick. The menu is limited though on what’s GF for my picky 5 year old celiac. When I mentioned celiac and gluten allergy the waiters always know and seem confident when I ask my questions.
No dedicated fryer for fries. When we come here with my 5 year old I bring fries and she has the burger patty no bun. I get the GF Caesar salad.
The big draw and why we come here is the GF pazooki. It’s amazing! The ice cream comes in its own single serving container.
I tried the gluten free burger and it was AMAZING it was my first time having a burger with a bun from a restaurant since I was diagnosed years ago because most places feel unsafe but my server Emily was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable and safe. There’s even a separate double sided gluten free menu!! Sadly experience seems to be dependent on server as I went a second time while in Tampa and had a salad that they ended up remaking because they couldn’t confirm if it had been made separate. The two servers that were at our table that time seemed like they were a little in over their heads and didn’t really care anyways so like I said it can vary. Otherwise the food was excellent and I didn’t react in any way! I would recommend especially if you can tell the server understands and cares!!
