Just be careful and ask for the manager to place your order! (A waiter once convinced us that they had a dedicated fryer so we “could have the fries”. I spoke to the manager just in case and he said they did have a different fryer but the fries are still breaded so absolutely not GF!)
They have a gluten free menu with several options. I've had the burger and the flatbread pizza and enjoyed both. They do not have a gluten free frier but they DO have gluten free desserts!!! The staff could use a little more education regarding the gluten free menu options and I cannot attest to their quality control, but I've eaten there several times and haven't gotten sick, and I'm pretty sensitive. It's nice to have options for places to go!
I have been going here for a very long time and have never had such a bad experience here before. The food was awesome but I specifically told my waiter to give me a gluten free bun and I had a gluten bun instead. Then when I told my waiter to fix it she took it put it on a gluten free bun and only took off the top gluten bun. I had a waiter named Tracy and she couldn’t hear me at all. She also cut me off when I was ordering and that’s why I didn’t get a gluten free bun.
Their gf pazooki is so good. It’s rare to find gf dessert and I love it. The gf menu isn’t huge but it’s good. About 10 years ago they have me a non-gf flatbread pizza instead of a gf pizza and made me VERY sick but they learned and retrained their staff, so I give them 3 stars. They have never made me sick since but I never order their pizza again, just in case.
I have a gluten intolerance and this place was awesome! The gluten free pizza is one of the best I've had!
The service here was so awful that we were concerned about the safety of the food due to the possibility of tampering by a hostile to-go server. She had several opportunities to be polite or helpful in any way and only escalated in her hostility and overt rudeness. The gf menu looks good but when you have to rely on the integrity of staff to insure food safety, service this unpleasant has a real impact.
Excellent experience. Not many options, but what they do have is very good.
I went here before a formal with a large group. Ordered the power bowl, and was so sick not even an hour later. Friends who listened to my conversation with the waitress assured me that I made my needs perfectly clear, and said all that I could. I requested a glove change, made sure the ingredients weren’t cross contacted, all the usual steps. Obviously somewhere along the line something got messed up, though I can’t say what it was. I’m sad to say it, as in the past I’ve had no issues, but I will never be returning.
I have eaten here twice in the last year and I have to say, they have upped their game with safety.
They ask you if it’s an “allergy thing” so they can inform the kitchen-not exactly correct terminology, but it gives me confidence that there is training for allergies and that is a good thing.
Also, their menu has “gluten-sensitive” items marked on the menu. I suspect that they were sued by someone because it uses to say “gluten free”. That’s what happened to California Pizza Kitchen and Starbucks also.
If you get the GF pazookie, they bring you out your own bitty ice cream carton to make sure it isn’t cross contaminated from other desserts. I was so pleased with my service and the caring the staff has shown me that I am now going to patronize their business more often.
As a community we need to realize that if people/businesses are trying to accommodate, we need to give them kudos. We should, of course, ask questions and educate, but we should be slow to bash business or take legal action. We want them to continue to try to make our lives easier and our food safer because they love us and care about our community, not because those “gluten-free people” make their job super difficult.
*Steps down off soap box*
Usually relatively safe. Our dumb ass cocky waiter assured us gluten free, did not make note came back with gf Pozuki with regular ice cream on top. We didn’t know the gf ice cream should have come pre wrapped according to the manager after I got sick and question the product. The waiter should be suspended for his cocky attitude and should have to attend Gf training in my opinion. If a restaurant is going to promote it they better make sure there waiters take this shit seriously.
