Great gluten free menu. I ordered a burger with a gluten free bun. You can not get fries though, as it's not in a designated fryer, but options were a baked potato, veggies, or a salad. I ordered asparagus. They have a gluten free dessert as well, which was delicious, basically a warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream on top. I would definitely be returning here on my trip in Oklahoma!
Like other reviewers said, their gluten free menu for options is limited, but for the gluten free pizza it is amazing, you can get pretty much any of their pizzas gluten free, my favorite is the garlic, chicken, mushrooms and tomato pizza(can't remember the name) but yummy! My oldest loves baked potatoes, so we get a regular one and she can add toppings, we tell her the gluten free pizza toppings options, so she changes it up regularly and my youngest loves rice, green beans and grilled chicken, so I get the kids meal grilled chicken and either or for the side and just buy the other as an extra side and my oldest shares the side of green beans. Get creative and the small list can look bigger :)
Yes, a GF menu was available but not very exciting. I was a little dissapointed that some of the dishes that could be made easily gluten free weren't offered that way (I.E. jambalaya). Only GF beer was redbridge. Still it was nice to know what options were safe!
They have quite a few options for GF. Their pizza isn't bad. Not much cheese, but a good crust. The GF pazookie is the best dessert I've had since going GF. The waiter told us that people who have had both the non-GF AND the GF all say the GF is actually better. It was awesome!
I just went there for my birthday and they have a great amount of gluten free foods . I really recommend. And the waitress is well aware of gluten free but you jut have to make sure you tell them allergies.
They have GF items noted on the regular menu in addition to a separate GF menu with an allergen list attached. I ordered the double pork chop, and the manager came out to tell me it was going to take longer (15-20 minutes) because they had some pre-cooked which could have cross contamination, so it would take longer to cook me a new one to ensure mine was safe. He even brought out a fruit and roll plate for each of my kids to hold them over since it would take longer. Food was great. I’ve dined here multiple times and haven’t had a reaction. GF pizookie is wonderful too. stuff seems knowledgeable, and will go ask a manager if they don’t know.
This facility is NOT safe for Gluten Free food. Although they have a limited gluten free menu & advertise their gluten free pizookie, they are not safe for celiacs. Our celiac family got contaminated here & our server Jeremy was arrogant & rude. Staff are not trained to understand this food related disease. They also don't use a dedicated gluten free fryer. 😥🤢🤮💔
My waitress seemed not very knowledgeable but did nicely find out the answers to my questions. I ordered the hamburger, plain with a GF bun and a baked potato. I didn’t get any bun - which was ok - and I did get my baked potato. However, there were fries all over my plate, which she had questioned and informed us were not GF.
We got 6 meals of take out. Safe, delicious, inventive, healthy, and great service (for takeout). Only complaint is salad was small for a dinner meal. Personal Pizza was delicious and nobody got sick. Extra bonus points for the pizza.
Clear listings of a variety of items. Seems like they should even have more options but glad they had some. Had a GF bun with burger. Unsafe fryers so beware. But they do have a GF beer on tap so there’s that...
Asked for the GF menu, knowing they had one after checking the website beforehand. Had the GF sirloin (medium) with the turmeric cauliflower and a baked potato. Everything was great. For dessert they had a GF pizzookie which is a personal baked GF cookie topped with vanilla bean ice cream. Just be sure to mention gluten allergy as always.
I ordered the Moroccan chicken, had a slice of my husband’s GF pizza and some of the chocolate chip pizookie with vanilla ice cream. I’m very sensitive to eating out so this was a risky one. It turned out delicious and I didn’t get sick.
Food is awful but I guess better than no food? Ordered the Barbacoa chicken and it was so salty it was inedible and there was hair in it. Manager let me choose another meal so I got the BBQ chicken salad - lettuce was brown on the edges and had an off taste. Really not good. And I’m not a very picky eater.
Was excited about the gluten free options but the service was absolutely horrible and while the food tasted good, it was unfortunately not gluten free.
Waitress was excellent, I let her know up front about my daughter and I. We both ordered the GF pizza, I did no cheese and vegetarian toppings due to dairy issues too and my daughter had cheese, pepperoni, and black olives. It’s been almost an hour since we finished our meal and, so far, neither of us has gotten sick. It was definitely one of the better GF crusts we’ve had. We will return to BJ’s again. I was disappointed that they had a GF printable menu online, but in the restaurant the options were slightly different and imbedded into the regular menu, which made it hard to decipher.
I brought my two Celiac daughters to eat dinner here. We informed the server of their condition and he knew all about it and assured that they have a separate prep spot and tools for their kitchen. We ordered gluten free pizza and even a gluten free pizookie! Neither of my kids got sick (one is incredibly sensitive) and loved every bite! This is the first gluten free pizza that they've had more than one slice of since they were diagnosed. We are very happy with this restaurant and highly recommend it!
This review is solely based on a grudge against the whole fast casual dining industry who have all unilaterally decided to drop all gluten free beer choices, in order to stock more ciders. THEY SERVE NO GLUTEN FREE BEER!
Went out of way for advertised gluten free beer but they don’t have it. GF menu is hard to navigate and no better than normal restaurants. Don’t know if they have dedicated GF cooking space. I won’t return. A brewery touting itself as celiac friendly should offer a gluten free beer.
Pretty limited GF menu, particularly for kids. My son went with the pizza but wasn’t impressed. The GF Pizookie was nice but undercooked and the ice cream was nearly melted by the time it was delivered. We’ll scratch this one off our list.
I didn't ask for specifically gluten free food cuz I wanted to take my chances and see how sick I got (for science and also cuz I have social anxiety LMAO). I ordered the Moroccan chicken and it was delish but overpriced for what you get (not even a full breast - just four slices). I also ate some of my friend's spinach & artichoke dip which wasn't listed as a gluten free option. I feel a little gassy but am otherwise hunky dory. My biggest complaint is that the table and our menus were both dirty. The floor was also pretty dirty. The bathrooms were however pristine and fully stocked, which means they get cleaned regularly so I am confident the kitchens are clean. I think the waitstaff could bother to clean up the restaurant itself more thoroughly and sticky menus is absolutely gross. The cutlery was clean however. Overall the experience was okay. I don't know why my friend keeps insisting we should come back when every time something is dirty or goes wrong (my gin & tonic didn't have a lime and last time I ate here my brussels sprouts were basically raw). Lol. Will update if I eat here again.
I went with friends a few weeks ago. As soon as I told the server I had Celiac she pointed out GF options on the menu and assured me they would take appropriate precautions. I felt very confident that they were paying attention, and the food was great! I would go back for sure!
I’ve been here several times with no incidents. The gluten free crust is the best I’ve had in the area and the only one I have not reacted too. I have also had there burgers with the gf bun. Very good! And the broccoli cheddar soup is delicious! Staff is knowledgeable and menu is clearly marked.
Took ten minutes to get any drinks, even water. My wife (Celiac) ordered a wedge salad with romaine. It came out as an appetizer, rather than the main course (she only wanted the salad). Their food-handling protocols need some work. My wife got cross-contaminated. Hopefully she won’t be sick all day.
I have eaten here quite a few times and haven’t been sick once. They have an allergy menu you can request. They will flag you as an allergy order too so the back is alerted. They have gf pizza crust and buns. No fries though as they are shared. They even have gf dessert, although I haven’t tried it because it’s baked with dairy.
As a newly diagnosed Celiac, I have been afraid to go out and eat at unfamiliar places in regards to cross-contamination. When I told my server I am Celiac, he told me they cook everything separately and would make sure to accommodate for me. Also, when ordering my salad, I forgot to ask for no croutons and he responded with “okay, and I will make sure to take the croutons off for you, too.” It was amazing, and I’m super happy I found a go-to I know I can trust!
BJ’s is a great option for some good Gluten Free Options. Every time I’ve gone here the employees are very familiar with their Gluten Free options, and if they were unsure they were more than willing to double check and make sure that it was safe for me to eat the item.
The waiter was very cautious. Service was great. Didn't get sick.
