I had the GF pizza, the pepperoni one, never had julienned pepperoni before! The bartender did suggest extra cheese so I went with that and honestly it needed it, because it was the perfect amount of cheese. The gluten-free crust was probably one of the best I’ve had in a long time. They did have a completely separate gluten-free menu, which was nice to see. Loads of options on there! They also had gluten-free buns and the sandwiches looked great. They even do their famous cookie in a gluten-free option, I really wanted to try it, but did not have room after the pizza. The bartender seemed knowledgeable and was also super friendly!! Very nice experience here, would definitely recommend.
Went there for dinner last night. I am celiac. I got their prime rib French dip. I had no reaction. I read in some of the reviews before that the french fries are gluten-free. They say on the menu that you can substitute and get the gluten-free fries. However, they do not have a separate fryer so I wouldn’t suggest that. I ordered the side salad instead.
I ordered takeout via their website; on the menu while ordering it has a special section labeled "gluten sensitive." I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and the cheddar mashed potatoes for the side. It was delicious! I am on vacation with my family for a week and we will probably eat there again on this trip and probably future trips
I was nervous about coming here since it hasn’t been reviewed in a while, but I had a great experience! While there were only a handful of options on the menu (I believe 2 salads, 2 bowls, gf buns for burgers and gf crust for pizza, and 1 pizookie) I felt very relieved seeing those items clearly labeled on the menu. I got the BJ’s brewhouse bowl (you can add meat or keep it vegetarian, I kept mine vegetarian to keep it simple) and let my server know I had celiac disease and couldn’t have gluten. He told me there’s a separate area in the kitchen where they would prepare my meal and that they would be very careful. My meal came out first to prevent cross contamination as much as possible, and it was delicious! I then got a gf chocolate chip pizookie, which was brought out before the others at the table and with the ice cream still in its cup to prevent cross contamination. It was delicious! I am very grateful for this experience, and I did not get sick!
Just be careful and ask for the manager to place your order! (A waiter once convinced us that they had a dedicated fryer so we “could have the fries”. I spoke to the manager just in case and he said they did have a different fryer but the fries are still breaded so absolutely not GF!)
