I would be for cautious here. They do offer gluten free buns but when I ordered it I’m not sure if my waitress didn’t enter it properly or the cook didn’t pay attention but when they brought it out it was the same bun as my sons so I asked and they took it back. I also asked if the fries were gluten free and she said she thinks so but would ask. Looking at my kids food the fries didn’t look like it so when they took my hamburger back I asked again and she’s like yeah they are. Then came back with my hamburger and a salad because turns out they were not. Started eating my salad and realized the lettuce was rubbery so I pulled it out and turns out it was a chunk of plastic wrap. They do offer a gluten free cookie dessert so there’s that.
My celiac fiance has been coming here all the time for the last several years. They've always been super accommodating to her and continue to do so, but their menu is so incredibly unclear now it's actually absurd. There is only one main entree marked with the gluten-sensitive label now. It's unclear if chicken sandwiches can be paired with a gluten free bun. A dish comprised of literally just salmon is not marked gluten sensitive? Neither is a simple steak. The thing that exacerbates this is that the online menu includes significantly more gluten sensitive options than what the physical menu does. Additionally, the allergen menu in the mobile app is even more different! Every menu has more or less gluten free options than the other, and it's becoming increasingly more worrying every time we come. If you are someone who doesn't like to take risks with this, I would avoid.
Have eaten at this location at least 20 times since moving here and I’ve never gotten sick. That includes both dining in and take out experiences. Honestly it’s almost a miracle because I’m extremely sensitive and it takes next to nothing to make me ill. I always get their pizza & pizookie. One of the few places in this town I will always want to go to!
GF menu items are labeled. However, we ordered the GF dessert and they brought out the wrong one, but corrected it when we asked to verify if it was indeed GF. The mistake could have resulted in a bad ending and the waiter was very apologetic. Went back on a different night and manager personally came out to verify if a dish was GF. She was very concerned and interested to make sure that the dish was safe (pork chop).
The staff is no longer as well trained as they once were. Even though you tell them it is a gluten free table they bring complimentary bread to the table. :-/
I’ve gone here many times and never gotten sick. There is a separate gluten free menu, I’ve only ever ordered the pizzas and pizookie but there are other options. Whenever I tell the staff about my allergies, they are very responsive and assure me they cook it separately. They also give you the ice cream for the pizzookie separate so as not to risk cross contamination.
I had the GF pizza, the pepperoni one, never had julienned pepperoni before! The bartender did suggest extra cheese so I went with that and honestly it needed it, because it was the perfect amount of cheese. The gluten-free crust was probably one of the best I’ve had in a long time. They did have a completely separate gluten-free menu, which was nice to see. Loads of options on there! They also had gluten-free buns and the sandwiches looked great. They even do their famous cookie in a gluten-free option, I really wanted to try it, but did not have room after the pizza. The bartender seemed knowledgeable and was also super friendly!! Very nice experience here, would definitely recommend.
I have eaten here many times and have only ordered the GF Cheese Pizza and have enjoyed their pizzooki. I really enjoyed the pizza every time I have ordered it. The Pizzooki is good, but the consistency is not. Sometimes it is perfectly cooked and other times it is not cooked long enough- still GF. With these 2 items, I haven’t ever had a reaction.
I told the waitress that i was gf and she immediate got me a gf menu! The place was packed and busy but she was very nice and definitly tried her best! Got the tomato mozzerella starter salad. It was okay, found a rogue piece of cheddar cheese in it lol. Many options such as steak, pizza, burgers with gf buns, appetizers, salads, etc. Ordered the bacon cheese burger with loaded mashed potatos- no complaints, good with gf bun and perfectly cooked medium rare. Not sure if quality of food was because of the dinner rush or just the way it is, but it was nothing too special. Pretty sure everything was gluten free. The pizookie is amazing!
