I would highly recommend this place!!! Upon arrival, I notified my server I was Celiac. She sent the manager to my table to tell me my options. The manager was VERY knowledgeable. She informed me her kitchen was a "from scratch" kitchen and could modify most selections. I was amazed at my choices! I ate there twice and never had a reaction. Great experience!

We’ve been here 6-8 times and I’ve never had an issue BUT the food is overrated in my opinion. I got the pot roast and mashed potatoes sans gravy. Meh. Hubs liked his Club and the fries are GF but they are frozen not fresh. More of the menu is gf now than in the past so better selection. The server was knowledgeable.

Our server was super knowledgeable about gluten free. He said a lot of the menu is gf and they have a designated fryer for fries. I asked about the tomato soup and he wasn't 100% sure so he brought the manager over and she answered some of my questions. I had the prime rib sandwich and tomato soup. Food was excellent and prices weren't too bad (compared to where I live) You do have to ask the server because they don't have stuff marked but they do have buns so most of the burgers and sandwhichs can be made gf. He also said most entrees were already gf.

No gluten free menu. However, the server was extremely knowledgeable about gluten free options on their menu and walked me through what I could have. She also made sure to double check my order with their chief to make sure it was safe. It was absolutely delicious.

I visited recently while on vacation and the wait staff was awesome. I had a new server and she was unsure about everything on the menu, so she had the manager come speak to me. They told me wht I could have, how it would be prepared and that they had dedicated fryer. My burger was very good and I had no reaction and I am very symptomatic. Great experience.

Meal here was ok. I had grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and veg. The chicken was a bit bland, did not taste like rosemary as advertised. Didn’t taste much like anything. but the other stuff was good. No gluten free menu but items are marked and the server was able to help me figure out what to get. Probably the chicken is better in the non-GF version if I had to guess. The service was a little lacking, maybe they are understaffed here, we didn’t get checked on very often.

We enjoyed Black Oak Grill. They have a dedicated fryer and GF bun options. We had wings and prime rib potato skins. Nice place! There’s not a separate GF menu but when asking the server, she gave us lots of options.

Blech. Service bad, food worse. No seasoning on food. Sandwich not put together neatly, sliding sideways…. No condiments on burger. Ketchup bottle at table, greasy and empty. No one came back to check on us till nearly finished. No drink refills. Not a return visit for us.

Whenever we visit Branson we eat at Black Oak Grill. Everything is made in house and the manager will come to the table to discuss what you can eat and how they can adapt specific meals I have never been sick and always feel safe eating there.

Perfect location on the Brandon Landing with an amazing selection of gluten free options. They are not marked on their menu, but my waitress was very knowledgeable. Ordered a gluten free burger that came with a soft bun and fries from a dedicated fryer. Will 100% be back next time I am in town! Very affordable too. Only $12 for my burger and fries.

Good food! The staff retrieve someone from the kitchen to help with all gluten free questions and hand deliver! The wings were gluten free!!!! All wing sauces reported gluten free! I had the buffalo and the habanero. Fries are in their own fryer. Steak was great as well!

Good selection of dinner plates and hot sandwiches. Gluten free bun for burger/sandwich. No gluten free menu but wait staff, Stephanie, was very knowledgeable of which dishes were GF. She relayed need for GF to kitchen staff who then did not put the pepperjack cheese on the Pub burger as it that particular cheese is not GF. They did offer other cheese options. Dedicated fryer for French fries.

I asked for a gluten free menu and was told the manager would be over to help me. He was able to go through the menu with me and patiently answered all my questions. I had the Seared Mahi Black Oak salad and it was so delicious. My gluten full family really enjoyed what they ate. It’s definitely a fresh and tasty place. We will return again.

They had a nice selection of gluten-free options. I believe they were short staffed during the time we visited because we had several mistakes in our order. But once the mistakes were corrected the food was good. The manager did come out and check on everything as far as the allergies. Out of six people in our party who are gluten-free no one had any trouble.

They didn’t have a separate menu, but our waitress was able to point out the different options on the menu that were GF. I ordered the grilled chicken, potatoes, and seasoned veggies. The service and food were great and I didn’t get sick.

As soon as I told our server, Ashley, that I had Celiac Disease and asked if they had a gluten-free menu, she got the manager to come speak with me. He was knowledgeable about a Celiac’s limitations and advised that they now have a designated fryer for their french fries so I could safely order them. They also use 100% ground beef for their burgers (however, they do use bread crumbs for their meatloaf) and, they have gluten-free (Udi’s) buns for their burgers. The food and service were very good.

Wait staff was knowledgeable about gluten free items. Most of the menu can be made gluten free. I had a burger and fries with no bun (gf buns available) and my husband had the steak with veggies and garlic mashed potatoes no gravy. It was delicious.

Absolutely thrilled to have found Black Oak Grill on the app!!! Came here with my husband and 4 kids and everything was fabulous. The manager happened to be at the door when we came in and overheard me ask for a gluten free menu. He came to the table and gave us tips. I had the Buffalo herb wings as an app and the clubhouse sandwich for an entree. Sooooo good and the service was fantastic! We will DEFINITELY be back on future Branson trips!

Dined here for lunch while shopping at the Landing. The manager came and helped me decide on a meal once I told the waitress I had celiac. I had the grilled chicken, mashed potatoes and veggies. It was a good quick meal with no cross contamination issues.

I have celiac and I’m very sensitive. I told him that I could not have gluten. He went to get his manager. The manager came over and answered my questions. I had the rosemary grilled chicken, zucchini and garlic mashed potatoes. It was delicious. I didn’t have any reactions to anything that I ate.
Yes
When I told our server I had Celiac she immediately had the manager come to our table. He went over everything on the menu! I ordered the spinach salad with no croutons and substituted a maple pecan (house dressing) dressing for the bacon dressing. It was the best salad I think I have ever had!!!! There were many options but I was in the mood for salad and I’m so glad I was!
Yes
We had a fantastic meal! They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with our meal. The manager, Ted, was fantastic. He came but a few times to make sure everything was to our liking.
Yes
The staff had the manager talk to us about gluten free options. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had the ribs and they were delicious. Manager Ted stopped by several times to make sure everything was ok. Also had the baked wings as an appetizer and they were great. They made sure the wing sauces and barbecue sauce for the ribs were gluten free. All in all great food, great service and a great experience!
Yes
They picked the croutons off my salad and gave it back... :(
The assistant manager was our waiter and was great. He knew the detail to every food option. They bake their fries if you need them GF so they don't share fryer!!! Both husband and daughter are celiac and my husband is super sensitive. Neither got sick and we will return again!
Yes
The previous reviews said it was great. Idk if we got a not great waitress or what. The food was good but they had a mix up on my gluten/dairy order. It was corrected but it took a little time.
They were very helpful in telling me what had gluten and dairy and how I could avoid those allergens on their menu.
They were very accommodating about GF. As others explained the manager came to your table to confirm your GF choices. But the food was very mediocre. My chicken breast was a flash- frozen, thin piece of meat, and warmed up in the same sauce my husbands salmon came with. Boring mashed potatoes and a forgettable veggie. All in all - great GF attention but blah food.
Yes
Visited here after reading great GF reviews. The chef came to our table to take my order and after I told him I had celiac and a couple other allergies (sesame, mushroom, shellfish and cranberry) he offered steam Veggies or a salad. I'm thinking this has more to do with a lazy chef (he didn't seem happy about being there) than the restaurant. Too bad a bad employee can ruin a good reputation.
No
Manager came to table to go over options. I had the smoked chicken & spinach salad. No croutons, subbed the dressing to something with maple in it ?? Tasty.
Yes
We ate here on vacation in May 2016, I had a hamburger which I told the manager that I was gluten and soy free. The hamburger tasted like it had some kind of seasoning on it, I figured it would be fine, since they knew I could not have any gluten. I was feeling very bad a few hours later and broke out in a celiac rash. Just a warning make sure they don't add seasoning, it could contain gluten.

As a celiac, I have dined here twice and feel very safe. The staff is knowledgeable and the manager comes to your table to explain the several GF options. I had the Rosemary Grilled Chicken and the Pot Roast and both were delicious. I recommend this place.

When I asked for the gluten free menu, the manager came out to provide personal assistance. He knew the menu and the recipes. He also understood Celiac vs. intolerance. Everything was wonderful: the attitude, the service, and the food. I enjoyed the Seared Ahi Salad which was delicious and perfectly cooked.
Service was excellent, the staff were friendly and the food was good. My food allergies kids enjoyed both the food and the experience and had no negative reactions. Overall a success for us!

Very knowledgeable and the food was great. Didn't have gf bread or buns.

awesome place for people who have to eat gluten free
Yes! This restaurant has nailed gluten free service!! Enjoyable atmosphere, excelling in service, and pretty good food!! The manager went over the menu and most of the menu was an option. They even would bake their wings for an appetizer, and bake fries as a side ... Something's not many other places offer.
The staff was attentive to be sure the chef not only covered gluten free but made adaptations look and taste appealing. We so enjoyed it we are going back before leaving town and will visit anytime we are in Branson and need to dine out. Super appreciate the comfort level of safety here and an enjoyable meal out!!

While finding this restaurant with GPS as a guide was problematic, the food was worth the challenge. There isnt a GF menu but the waitress asked the manager to come to our table. He was knowledgeable about both gluten intolerance and celiac and I felt confident he would make sure my food was prepared correctly. I ordered the salad with battered chicken but asked for it to be grilled. He substituted bleu cheese with goat cheese and eliminated the croutons. It was tasty and very filling--actually more than I could eat. There were many options on the menu that could be made GF. We will definitely eat here again.

We ate dinner here last night. My 11 yo daughter has Celiac disease, I'm gluten intolerant and my husband eats gluten free since we do at home. We had read many reviews so we were excited to eat here. The waiter told us he would get the manager. She suggested we could have any salad without croutons, one appetizer wing option, one steak option, baby back ribs, salmon, pot roast or Rosemary chicken. My daughter chose the pot roast, I had the salmon and my husband had the steak. Everything was delicious. My daughter felt very comfortable with how confident the manager was. Neither my daughter or myself got sick. And if there would have been any single tiny cross contamination issue she would have been vomiting within 15 minutes of eating she is super sensitive. We will be back! Just speak to a manager to go over your options.
Yes
Very nice and knowledgeable about gf and df. Worked with me and fixed things for me specifically so I could eat, including baking my fries and fixing my zucchini in Olive oil. It was enjoyable.
wow! what a great staff and understanding about gf and other food allergies! food is made to order, manager came out and took order!
