Edit: after about my 10th visit I was glutened ):
I’ve ate here 5 times, never had an issue. All of their tortillas are gluten-free, but some tacos have a gluten-containing sauce. Staff was knowledgeable and told me which tacos would have to be changed.
Also, some of the best tacos in Orlando.
Delicious! I recommend the chicken tinga and veggie tacos.
They're well aware of celiac disease and take great precautions. Apparently their fryer is usually dedicated gf but wasn't when I went for some reason which they pointed out without my asking, and gave alternatives to have with my side of guacamole.
Food was excellent! We had the guac and chips and chicken tacos. Delicious! And staff was so friendly! Would definitely go back!
The food was absolutely delicious and mouthwatering!!! I’m definitely going to have to come back. Items on the menu are not listed as gf but the staff is very knowledgeable! They were able to change gloves, knew what Celiac Disease is, and cleaned the kitchen area. Their corn tortillas are gf and they have a dedicated fryer for their tortilla chips (I didn’t get them though but I bet they’re delicious too!)
My family and I ate here and really enjoyed it. Most things are gluten free, and we easily ordered everything to be dairy free as well. My daughter and I are very sensitive and neither of us got sick.
We ordered the shrimp ceviche, and several different type of tacos. The chips were great and I would say that the chicken tacos were my favorite. Usually, chicken tacos are just ok, but these were the best I’ve ever had.
Many GF options. They are well educated on cross contamination. I eat here every week. They don’t serve flour tortillas and their homemade corn tortillas are super soft They can modify some tacos to be GF. For example they will make you a sautéed fish instead of fried fish Shared fryer. Don’t order chips or fried pork belly
One of my favorite places in Orlando! Menu doesn’t show what’s GF but all staff is knowledgeable. Tacos are made on GF corn tortillas but not all tacos are GF, ask the staff. Chicken Tinga is my favorite. Chips are made of corn but fried in a shared fryer. I am typically sensitive to and totally avoid shared fryers but have never had an issue here, proceed with caution. Their chips are SO yummy if you can eat them and the queso is beyond good.
SO The chips are not safe for celiac because of oil, the plantains are not either. The tacos with homemade corn tortilla however are delicious! You can modify some of the delicious bowls to be plantain and chip free easily . There’s a beef and friend fish taco that isn’t safe, but other than that, no complaints with cc so far. Just talk to the the person taking your order.
Got glutened, they seemed to be knowledgeable, I’m assuming something got cross contaminated. They don’t have markings on their menu for GF, or a GF menu. I gave two stars because the food was good, but I was throwing up the next day in the usual way. After I ate there I had that slippery feeling in my mouth and was concerned, home cooked meals the rest of the day.
My favorite taco place! They always give me heads uo on what to avoid. Love it.
We have eaten hear a few times and it's been very good. My bf has celiacs and has not gotten sick. Tacos, chips and plantains!! All gf
I have visited this restaurant twice, most recent being on 6/24/16. On this visit I had the Vegetarian Tacos, Black Beans, Rice, Ceviche and Sweet Plantains. After ordering the plantains I found out they are cooked in a shared fryer with other items containing gluten. Immediately they suggested they make me another batch in oil that has not been cross contaminated. I am very thankful for the quick accommodation! Definitely recommend!
A little pricey ($3.50 - $4.50 a taco), but good quality with house made (organic) tortillas. Almost everything is gluten free.
