I have a severe gluten allergy which will show its ugly head 20 minutes after being glutened. I have had their gluten free crust pizza three times. All of them with the tomatoe sauce base and no problem. My son also did not have a problem and he is just like me. One of the owners is celiac so they know how to not cross contaminate.

Sat outside, overlooking the water on a beautiful sunny winter day. All pizza’s can be made gluten free, all sandwiches can be made into salads or GF wraps. Server was knowledgeable & checked to verify that the béchamel sauce was not made with a roux.

While the food is great I had a reaction after eating here. I had a GF pizza and salad with GF dressing. Clearly cross contamination occurred.
I was very clear with the waitress about my condition. Frustrating to go through this every time you eat out and still get glutened.

While they do not have a gluten free menu, they have lots of options. They have a gluten-free wrap that can be added to any sandwich and all of the sandwiches can be made into salads. I was discouraged not to see a whole bunch of salads on the menu, but because they had this option, it was a very good thing for me. I had the cheese steak sandwich with a gluten-free wrap and a side of brussels sprouts, and they were excellent. My family members who eat gluten had the St Joe sandwich and the black sheep BPT and everyone was really happy with their food and side of mac & cheese and the potato salad. We brought our dog and we’re able to sit outside, and it was beautiful atmosphere by the marina. Highly recommend!!!

My husband and sons have celiac. Eating out is HARD. We usually steer clear of pizza joints as cross contamination is so easy but we were assured that Black Sheep takes allergies seriously. There are a few places in Beaufort where are you can eat gluten-free for under $30 a plate. Our server told us they have a different gluten-free prep and cooking area. My ultra sensitive guys had no reaction!!! The kind server said they can do any sandwich on a gluten-free wrap as well.
I feel for you ALL who can’t eat gluten (and your loved ones who spend hours researching where are you can eat!) This spot was a great option. The outdoor water side seating was lovely as well!

They use the same oven for the gluten free pizza but they are knowledgeable about gluten free and allergies. They were not able to accommodate any proteins for the top of my salad. Just worried about cross contamination.

Are here last night, was told by our server that the owners wife has celiac, they have separate preparation areas for preparing/cutting the gf pizzas. I had the charcuterie pizza and mixed green salad, also got pimento cheese appetizer to share and they brought me gf crackers. All of their desserts for the night were gluten free, I got the chocolate torte. Everything was delicious and no reaction!!

Fantastic gluten free pizza, probably the best gf pizza I’ve had for a long time. I had the roasted veggie pizza. The toppings and sauce were delicious and the crust was crispy and tasty, which is something that many gf pizza lacks. I am celiac and had no reaction. Looking forward to our next trip to Beaufort to eat more of this delicious pizza.

Very unknowledgeable about their food. They buy some random gf crust and don’t even know what brand it is. How can you run a restaurant and not even know what’s in the food you sell??
