The food was outstanding. Menu items are not marked so be sure to let your server know you are gluten free. They are well trained in what is and what is not GF. It’s hard to believe but the corn tortillas are gluten free!! The softest I have ever had. Very good selection of food and almost all (90%) or so can be made gluten free.

Had a stellar experience, despite a very busy restaurant!

Waiter was super competent, reassured me well.

They made fresh chips in own pan of oil (shared fryer otherwise) with guacamole, then ordered the taco salad, which they assured me is in own bowls due to other salads having bread crumbs/croutons.

Great time and great drinks too!

Fantastic tacos rice chips and sweet corn all gluten free (chips separate fryer) we loved it. Flavor town!!! Will definitely be back!!!

Appreciate how they asked about celiac vs allergy when we orderes food! Server was a pro who took extra precautions, even went and got separate chips and salsa.

Food was overall pretty good, if a touch expensive for what it is. Maybe most of the cost is in drinks though 😬

Great restaurant. I told our waitress I was gluten free and she told me she’d bring our a separate gf bowl of tortilla chips. I had chicken fajita’s with their made in house corn soft shells. They were so good. I would definitely go again. It will be our new favorite when we visit.

They had GF chips just like prior posters mentioned. I shared fajitas with my dad and the guacamole dip. I enjoyed my food and didn’t get sick.

Stopped in for lunch yesterday. The server was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what was safe for me... I am GF and also dairy free. Items are not marked, but most anything can be made differently. Our server brought out chips and salsa. They cook batches of corn chips in clean oil every morning for GF people before using fryer for other items. Fryer is cleaned and oil is changed every day. I had the carne asada with corn tortillas. She assured me of their protocols. The manager even came out to tell us he was sorry for the delay, but they were cooking my food completely separate as to avoid contaminants. Toritillas were bagged and warmed in the microwave instead of on a warmer with other items. I was please with the whole experience and was so grateful for how they accommodated me. A must for Celiacs!

This is the second time and second location I have been to a Blanco. There were lots of options that are gluten free. Just ask. I got my own gluten free chips from a dedicated fryer and the salsa is gluten free. I had a chicken burrito bowl and it was great. I felt good about the explanation and understanding of our server about the processes to avoid cross contamination. The meal was great and I had no problems or reactions. Would recommend.

Loved Blanco Tacos. I indicated in my online reservation that I am celiac. Waitperson made a point of saying the gluten free chips will be right out. Boy, did they get off on the right foot! I had a delicious grain bowl. Everything went smoothly. It was kind of noisy, that was only drawback.

We saw high reviews so thought we would check it out. Started out strong by bringing us out two tortilla chips (gf and non gf) with a separate salsa for each. But then when we ordered we asked specifically that it be noted that my daughter is celiac and she ordered the gluten free beef tacos off the kids menu. The waiter seemed to understand. I also ordered the fajitas gluten free. When they came out my daughters had French fries on the plate. I asked about them being from a separate fryer and they said they were not so took them back and brought back another. My gf fajitas came with flour tortillas. When I asked if they were corn tortillas they weren’t sure, then asked some other staff before determining they were flour. You definitely need to be careful here and double check everything. Not sure it’s the best spot for celiacs. Food is pretty good but not stellar.

Almost 90% of the menu can be made gluten free, although there is not a separate menu. Server brought out GF tortilla chips (made in dedicated fryer). However I still felt like I got some cross contamination, had a minor stomach ache/minor brain fog. Tacos were tasty, ask for spicy stuff on the side and a side of sour cream if you can't handle spicy food.

Mahi tacos were celiac safe. My Nima sensor agreed. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Am delighted to find another place I am welcome.

Got sick!! Warning: Server was *Completely* Unfamiliar with which items are gluten free & said the chips were gluten free - but they were brought out to us before we'd told them we need to be gluten free. Later, we discovered that there is a separate fryer & you must request them to be gluten free. There is NO Gluten Free MENU...so Why does the listing say there is??

Server insisted on giving me a separate bowl of chips, NOT fried in the same oil as the breaded shrimp like everyone else’s chips. Dedicated fryer. GF chips are lighter in color than regular chips. She also insisted on giving me my own bowl of salsa so that I did not have to share the salsa which would be contaminated by everyone else’s regular chips. Nice! She made sure I ordered the black beans - the other beans are cooked in beer. I had never thought of that ... I felt looked after & safe.

We were comfortable from the second we asked the hostess (manager?) for the GF menu. There isn’t one, but she knew exactly which dishes couldn’t be converted to GF because they involved beer. She also made a point to tell us to be sure to tell our waiter so everyone was on board. When our server brought our chips over, we told him we were celiac and he didn’t even put the chips on the table - he told us there’s a separate fryer for GF chips and he’d bring those (we knew about the dedicated fryer from the woman we initially spoke with, so that was awesome and so reassuring that everyone was so knowledgeable.) Food was delicious. Our waiter was Jordan and he said they really take care of people with celiac - gloves, cleaning surfaces, etc. to eliminate cross-contact. Very cool place!

*The food and service were exceptional. They answered all my dietary questions, all while being personable and knowledgeable. *I had two hard shell tacos with a side of grilled corn. It was delicious. *My husband(non gf diner) had braised beef rib burrito, he loved it. * We also shared a gf caramel flan. It was creamy and delightful. * Would definitely recommend. * It was celiac safe, no side effects.

This place is amazing. Have missed having Mexican food since diagnosis I was super excited to see such great reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Servers are well-educated about cross contamination and know the menu very well. Everything on the menu, eith the exception of two dishes, are gluten free or can be made gluten free. They have a separate fryer for gluten free chips - just as and they'll bring you your won bowl of goodness. I was super excited to learn that even their queso was gf , most places add flour so I consumed with my fingers crossed. I didn't not get sick and sauted a week to post my review just to be sure. The server even informed me that the meal my husband ordered was not gluten free and that I should not sample it. Definitely an amazing place. Cant wait to go back!

I had the Mahi tacos and steak tacos on a delicious fresh corn tortilla with rice and beans. It was amazing. No dedicated menu but staff was knowledgable with recommendations. Loved it! Finally get to eat a full meal not just a salad!
