They do have a gluten free crust and they change their gloves to get the dough. However, they do not use separate ingredients for the gluten free pizzas. My husband has celiac disease so we just took his pizza to go and gave it away. It wasn't worth the risk.

I had a different experience than Krysta. I did get the GF crust - they changed gloves and used a separate (non-contaminated) container and spoon to put on the marinara. I'm giving it 4 stars bc I didn't get sick - but I personally didn't like the pizza crust and neither did my 2 other friends who got non-GF. The crust was just really chewy (for both).

They have gf crust and the ingredients are naturally gf, but cross contamination is everywhere. They use the same spoon to put marinara on regular crust and spread it around then on the gf crust, same with all other ingredients. Very thin crust and it was good, but I did get sick. Won't go back.

They offer gluten free crust. They use different equipment when handling crust. Not sure if a Celiac would be safe to eat there. Good for gluten sensitive people.

They have all the right GF procedures in place and 99% of staff know them. Sometimes newbies seem a little overwhelmed, but they know who to ask for help. I eat here like twice a month (or more) and have had excellent experiences each time. Christina is especially awesome at GF!!

The pizza is not bad. They have a gluten free crust, if you catch them on a day that they decided to stock it, but they are NOT CELIAC FRIENDLY. Most of their employees are kids and they do not train them for cross contamination concerns. The equipment is not gluten free, and they do not clean it to prevent cross contamination.

Blaze Pizza in Ames has an allergen list and gluten-free pizza crust. All of the toppings are gluten-free except for the meatballs. Blaze Pizza does a great job about changing gloves. The pizza is kept on a red mat indicating gluten free so it never touches the same surface as flour. The pizza cutters are also specifically only used on gluten free pizzas. Great service - everyone took extra precaution to ensure my meal was safe of cross-contamination. Reasonably priced pizza too.

The toppings are delicious and you can add as many as you want. When I went to this location yesterday, they used the same dough press for my crust as the gluten crusts. I asked them to do it over and noticed that the gluten free dough is pressed onto a special plate, but I'm uncertain as to the status if the press part. They started to use the same sauce and ladle for my pizza as the gluten ones. I stopped them an the worker went for help from a manager and then took out a new sauce container. Next time I will go at an off hour and speak to the management. I'm not confident that this location follows good procedures and that I didn't get some cross contamination. Use caution

The staff was knowledgeable and very friendly! As soon as I put in my order for a gluten free crust they changed their gloves and pulled out new uncontaminated ingredients for my pizza. Mine was cooked on a specified tray in the oven and cut with a fresh pizza cutter. I always appreciate staff that take the time to go above and beyond for my disease but even besides that they were so friendly it was contagious. Definitely coming back!!

I tried Blaze Pizza for the first time. Jon made my Gluten-Free pizza from start to finish. He used fresh pizza sauce and toppings that had not been on the line. He even went to the back for toppings that weren't readily stored below the line. He used clean utensils and freshly changed gloves. All gf pizzas are cooked in special liners so they don't touch the oven floor. The end of line staff knew to use a clean cutter to cut my pizza. It allowed my to enjoy a nice dinner out with family. After our meal, I made sure to thank Jon personally. He stated his daughter has Celiac and understood how carefully food needs to be prepared.

The piazza wasn't that good. T g e didn't change their gloves and were not very knowledgeable about their products, as far as what us GF and what was not. When we asked to speak to the manager we waited 5 minutes with him walking back and forth in front of us, until he responded. When we asked him about his employees education on their GF products, "He said the employee just misunderstood the question." I would not recommend this establishment whether you are a Celiac or not.

GF Pizza is delicious, and the concept of this chain is fresh, but be aware of a few risks of potential cross contamination. The plates to press the dough, little metal order numbers that travel with your pizza and may also touch your uncooked dough (reused and probably not washed), the pizza cutter used to cut all pizzas, and the gloves in case not changed. Nice to see the separate GF sauce and dedicated ladle, but beware of other risks if intolerant.

When we went down to help move him home for the summer, we went there for lunch and I can't say enough about the quality food and service. They offer gluten-free pizza crust. However, even with the fancy call out for glove changes and a special container for the sauce, they baked the pizza bare where the other pizzas are, used the same board, cutting stand, and cutter as wheat pizzas. Expect cross contamination here. Also, the crust was horrible, and they burned it. They did not offer to replace the burnt pizza.

Our church youth group stopped here recently. I happened to be in line right behind our one student who has celiac disease. As soon as John asked for gluten-free crust, the young man helping him said, "Do you want a glove change with that?" and the prep guy immediately started cleaning the surface where they prepare the crust. The manager told me later that they pride themselves in serving customers with special dietary needs and that the young man who helped us was a new employee. I was impressed that a new employee would be so well-versed in gluten-free options. Plus the pizza came out fast and was delicious!

They have gluten-free crust, and it's affordable. You can get a standard pizza, any topping you want on GF crust for around $11.00. It is a shared cooking environment, and a shared oven. The crust was okay, but there are other restaurants with better crust. Their crust was very thin and soggy. The crust wouldn't even hold the toppings on my pizza. They have horrible customer service. This was my first time eating at this restaurant (and location). I ordered online. I went inside to see the cashier, and when I walked in NONE of the employees greeted me or made eye contact. They was no acknowledgment that a customer even walked in. I then went to the online order section, and waited behind one woman. Another man came up from the right of me, from the Order Inside Line. When it was my turn, he then tried to cut in front of me. I said I was actually next in line. The cashier asked me 1 question, there was no other communication. When I signed me receipt she then turned to the man who tired to cut in front of me and apologized to him! She then cooked his pizza first, and I waited for another 5 minutes after mine was supposed to be ready. Not to mention, I am concerned about health department codes! When I opened the box, the pizza was sitting directly on top of my printed receipt from the restaurant! I have no idea how many hands touched that receipt, where it has been, or if the ink was even dry and she put my pizza directly on top of it!
