It was pretty good, and I only had mild allergic reaction. I do not think this place is safe for those with strong allergic reactions. I was nervous the entire time they were making it, but they pulled through. I think it’s cooked with all the other pies and that’s why there is some cross contamination.

Offered to change gloves, explained which toppings are gluten free & used separate utensils for each topping & sauce. They also used a separate tray for pizza when baking & cutting the pie. The staff was very kind & courteous.

I was very impressed by their gluten free thoroughness. I had to wait a while for them to get a GF crust out, but when they did, the guy changed his gloves before touching it and then stayed with my pizza all the way to the oven. (Their usual method is to have an assembly line where 3 people prep your pizza). I asked the final guy to not cut my pizza but he pointed out that they have a separate GF cutter. He too changed his gloves before touching the pizza. Very thorough! Unfortunately I found the pizza crust and overall flavor to be just so-so. I have had much better GF pizza in the Phoenix AZ area (where I currently live). Picazzos and NYPD have great GF pizza, so good that non GF people eat there.

If you have celiac, beware. This place is not gluten free! Yes, they have gluten free crusts, but they spread the sauce on your gf pizza with the same soon they use on regular pizza dough. Yes, they change their gloves, but they get ingredients from bins that have been contaminated with flour. I do not recommend this place if you don't want to be glutened.

There is no way on god's green earth this place is making a pizza that is safe for a celiac. Walked in to see flour dusted all over the counter next to the food prep area. Warning sign said "we can't guarantee there won't be cross contact with gluten containing ingredients." Staff was very friendly and nice, helped me pick a salad and dressing with their allergen info sheets.

I am a very sensitive celiac patient, thus very afraid of eating out. As I entered Blaze on Friday afternoon, the staff immediately welcoming and friendly. I told the employee that it was very important for me to get a gluten free pizza, and he immediately changed his gloves and took care of the gf pie for me. Blaze provides an online allergen guide and most of the ingredients they use are naturally gluten free. The ingredients, which are mostly very natural and of superior quality, are all dealt with separately, and from my standpoint there is minimal risk of cross contamination. I ate my whole pie in one seating and had no reaction whatsoever. The restaurant is clean and has a very nice atmosphere. I am so glad to have found a place where I can get a fresh gluten free meal for under $10!

I fled this place after watching the assembly line of servers putting pizzas together and shuffling them all down a line. Ingredients are all out in the open, so contamination seemed unavoidable. After watching pizzas tossed into oven one after the other, felt unsafe with my restrictions and bailed.

Blaze has outstanding gluten free pizza. Fresh GF dough pressed on a separate machine. Staff walks your pizza down the line as you pick sauces (from dedicated bins), cheeses and toppings. Make sure to ask for glove change when you order. Separate tools are used to slice pizzas after they are cooked. Make your own salads available as well.

The gluten free crust is pressed on a mat with a separate press. They’ll change gloves and only use fresh ingredients and new utensils to make your pizza if you ask. Cooked in the same oven but still on the mat then cut with specific gluten free utensils. I watched the whole thing, asked questions, and was very impressed. Plus the pizza actually tasted good!

I’m an employee here and gluten intolerant. We go through procedures to make sure there is as little cross contamination as possible with placing our gluten free pizzas on dedicated mats and thoroughly wipe down our dough pressing equipment before pressing our dough. We also will change our gloves, dedicated red sauce for gluten free dough and we will get completely new ingredients if you request

Would probably not recommend for highly sensitive Celiac as the staffing is unreliable.

Delicious crust but high today of cross contamination. The gf crust is kept separate and is placed on a barrier when cooking in the same oven as the regular pizzas. It's the toppings where contamination is most likely, as even if they change gloves, sauce is doled out from same containers and spread using the utensil that lives in the sauce. Gloves touch and retouch all toppings.

The staff was knowledgeable about gluten & celiac. I have a very serious reaction to gluten and I may have felt a little upset stomach but nothing really crazy. So, this place is okay but there are so many opportunities for cross contamination so it only gets 3 stars for me. If you have a clear conversation about your allergies, you can get employees to change their gloves, fresh (from a different container) toppings, and a separate cutter. Overall okay place. I wouldn’t go back just because of the risks.

Surprised this place wasn’t even listed in the app! Excellent gluten free pizza option with plenty of toppings to pick from. Allergens are listed clearly on the website so you can plan a safe order ahead of time. The staff was excellent and offered to wipe down dough press and change gloves once I ordered a gluten free crust — the girl who did my sauce even got it from a different area so she wouldn’t be using a gluten-contaminated ladle on my pizza! They don’t have a dedicated kitchen space or oven, but their oven apparently gets to like 900 degrees, so I felt comfortable trying it out and I’m glad I did, though I’m not sure I would recommend it to a celiac. They had multiple gluten free salad options, also! Overall a great experience and I look forward to eating here again.

There is no way in hell this Blaze pizza location is gluten free. My wife is very gluten intolerant, we visit the other local Blaze location in Auburn Hills often and she never has a problem ordering GF pizza crust with staff glove changes. We walked into this location in Novi with the hope that we would have a similar experience, but no - absolutely not. There is obviously a management problem. The place was a mess, prep food thrown everywhere around the counter. I swear, if bloodhound dogs were preparing the pizzas the counter would have been better than what we saw. The bathrooms were destroyed. If your ok with eating in a less than clean environment, by all means. However, if you require GF crust then this place is not for you. When my wife asked for GF dough, they stared at her as it were a total problem and shocked that someone would ask for it. Stay away for GF pizza, better luck at Buddy’s up the road.

They have GF crust option and most toppings are GF. But they are not trained in handling to not cross contaminate and the process looks like contamination is very likely. They changed gloves but then touched multiple surfaces that visibly had wheat crumbs on it! As the pizzas go down the line they all hang over the topping containers along that edge, which includes the cheese. I watched baffle boards of regular dough go down the line with the dough literally hanging off the paddle board sipping into the topping containers and touching the toppings, not to mention the lose flour dripping off these boards and contaminating the whole line. When asked which toppings are GF, they said everything. I saw meatballs and asked “are you sure.” They then looked around for a list and found the meatballs were not gf..... so not “everything” which is too big an “oops” when told to handle for an “allergy” to wheat. This is by no means Celiac friendly. Not trained. Not knowledgeable. Not taking precaution to not cross-contaminate. I’m not the one with Celiac so I can tell you their food tastes great but it isn’t to be trusted for those that can’t have GF.

They took my pizza to a separate location to add the sauce, cheese, and toppings to avoid cross contamination. The pizza was then placed on a silicone (I believe) mat before being put into the oven. It was sliced with a dedicated gluten free pizza slicer. The pizza was absolutely delicious. One of the best I’ve had in a long time! One of my favorite go-to’s for GF pizza. Only pizza place that has never made me sick. People commenting about cross contamination on pans or pizza dough presses are wrong. If you tell them you have an allergy, which they are actually prompted to ask after you order GF. They do a glove change. For the GF allergy customers there is a separate pizza dough press, a GF mat the dough goes on before it hits the pan, and ability to get sauce from separate container so no double dipping. Separate pizza slice and everyone down the line is told this is for an allergy. Been over ten times and never once been sick!
