Just went here the other day and they were super well versed on cross contamination. Got a new bucket of sauce and cheese specifically for my pizza and when putting it in the oven it was on a tray so it didn’t touch the bottom of the oven. Pizza is overall pretty good, definitely crispy but it’s safe and one of the better places to get gluten free in the area.
They ask if it’s preference or allergy and will clean the dough press for you
I strongly recommend to not eat at blaze pizza if you even have the slightest gluten sensitivity. If you have celiac, do not eat here!!! Even if they clean all the equipment and give you gluten free crust, it will still be baked in the exact same oven as the regular pizzas. I’ve gotten very sick from eating at blaze before and will never eat here again
1 star is only for the fact that they are not gluten free if you have medical gluten issues. Per their menu " *We work with wheat based dough and share equipment with our gluten-free dough. Some cross contact may occur." If you go watch them prep pizzas, you will see this in action.
Many GF options. I’d rather pay for a GF BYO pizza here than a frozen GF pizza for the same price + less fresh toppings. They remade my pizza, saying there was a CC issue and I really appreciated the honesty and willingness to restart for my safety. 10/10 would recommend GF pizza from here. It was delicious!
