I have Celiac and I've eaten here several times with no issues- I can't guarantee this would be the case for people who are really sensitive, since the kitchen certainly has lots of gluten, but the allergen guide on their website is very helpful and the pizza is great. I ordered delivery tonight and a minute after I placed my order, I got a call from the general manager of the store because he thought one of the sauces I ordered had gluten. He looked through every source he had to find the ingredients for me and make sure my food was safe. Super nice staff and great food!

Soggy crust. My family did not enjoy the taste of the pizzas. Pizza did come hot and in a timely manner.

My Boyfriend has Celiacs and we normally go up the street to Pizza Rev but wanted to try something different. They do have GF options available and have them clearly labeled. When we went in and he ordered the GF Keto option we told the girl making our pizzas It was for an ALLERGY. She looked at us kinda confused and processed to make his pizza. She DID NOT do any type of procedures to help prevent cross contamination and used the same spoons for the sauce and never changed her gloves. My boyfriend ended up having a small attack 2 hours after consumption. I personally love blaze and have been a customer since they opened and prefer It Over pizza rev. If it’s a gluten preference deff would recommend but for an allergy save the pain and go to PIZZA REV, they take food allergies more serious.

My son was recently diagnosed with Celiac, so I went into this particular blaze because my niece (who is celiac) said the franchise is very careful about cross contamination. I wanted to see how they handle the seriousness of celiac. Unfortunately, this particular one was not. Gloves were changed and a special silicone pad was used on the board, but that felt like the extent of it. Although my paper was labeled for an allergy, the employee was about to use the same sauce she used on the line of regular crusts before. When I asked if she had a sauce for people with allergies, she said yes. Then she proceeded to put all the same toppings that had been used on all the regular pizzas on mine. Finally, when the pizza came out of the oven, they used the same pizza cutter that they had been using on all the regular pizzas. I was so disappointed. I definitely do not feel safe recommending this Blaze unless you are ready to be vocal at every step of the process. If you are just intolerant to gluten, it’s probably ok. But for someone with Celiac, I would be very cautious at this Blaze.

Blaze has some of my favorite gf pizza. They have multiple gf dough options (original is my favorite) and you can have most toppings. It is a pizza place with regular wheat crust so there is high chance of cross contamination but they can use separate trays, change gloves, and use new pizza cutters. They say to be cautious if you have celiac.

I used to go here a lot right when they opened (~5 years ago) and they were well versed in GF every time I went. Was visiting my parents and went back, they were confused about GF, didn’t take the precautions they used to, and I got sick after. No longer recommend.

Went looking for a pizza place with a friend that offered vegan cheese (dairy allergy) and found this place. She got an entirely vegan pizza and I ordered the GF crust. Because of Covid, we opted for curbside pickup. We said 7:30pm and that is the exact time they walked it out to us!! I’m so excited to add another pizza spot to the list for my hubby that not only has GF options on the menu, but taste amazing as well.

Blaze let’s you design your own pizza, much like the way Chipotle works. Upon telling the hostess I had celiac, instead of the usual blank stare, she immediately launched into my options. They have three GF crusts: cauliflower, keto and house-made. The first two are made elsewhere and the house-made is made there, of course. Since every pizza joint has flour in the air (which is why I didn’t mark them as celiac-friendly), I would think the cauliflower or keto crusts have less chance of x-contact since they are in a wrapper until prepared. They gave me the option of using fresh ingredients from the back room, which I took. They put the pizza on a round black rubber-like object so it won’t touch the oven or the utensils they use to move them around. They have a separate pizza cutter with a red handle that is only used for GF pizzas. The only time I saw an action that may have introduced contamination was that the person grabbing the black rubber matt did not change their gloves first. I will request that next time. The pizza was great! The service was great! I will definitely be back!

The staff has always been very knowledgeable and helpful regarding gluten-free items and does a glove change and well-marked single serve disposable contact items. Current allergen information is available on their website and they have this information also available at this location. They have 3 different gluten free crusts at this time of this review: GF Cauliflower crust, GF Keto crust, and my favorite, their original GF dough crust. Their white cream sauce is surprisingly gf as are items like their sausages and chorizos. Although I once had a respiratory reaction to eating on site, the food itself has always been safe and never caused me any troubles. It is truly exceptional!!

This is one my favorite gf fast food restaurants of all time. for $8, you build your own pizza with any toppings you want and as much as you want to make a pizza that is ready in just a few minutes. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about celiac and gluten free issues. They have gluten free pizza dough and dedicated pans they use along with doing glove and utensil changes when asked. All of their meat (besides meatballs) are gf as are their cheeses. Blaze Pizza is sincerely the best pizza place I have been to for gluten free options. We are usually in and out within 10 minutes. Incredibly fast and delicious!

One of the more Celiac friendly restaurants. I’ve gone three times in the past month. When you order the gluten free crust, they will ask you if it is a preference or an allergy. I let them know that it is severe (Celiac). The first time, they wrote a note on my paper to “change gloves” and they did. Second time, she didn’t change gloves so I had to ask. Third time I went, he changed gloves told me he would wipe things down before preparing my dough. He actually thoroughly cleaned the dough press. All depends on who you get, but the pro is that you watch your food get prepared during the whole process and you can watch for contamination issues. Gluten free crusts are kept on a round mat the whole time so that when it is placed in the oven, it doesn’t get cross-contaminated there. They use a different pizza cutter for gluten free crusts also. Lots of precautions. However there is still a chance for cross-contamination issues. Examples would be scoops spreading sauce from one crust to the next, or workers touching ingredients that someone else has touched with contaminated gloves. Also, I’ve learned that some shredded cheeses are covered in cellulose to prevent them from caking and sometimes the cellulose is made of wheat (not always, it can be made of lots of things). I opt for the Veg Out pizza because it comes with sauce “dallops” where they drop the sauce on and don’t actually touch the crust to spread the sauce around. I’ve never gotten sick at Blaze so far. However, Blaze does have a statement online that they would not consider themselves to be Celiac friendly due to the risk of cross-contamination.

The crust is thin, but very enjoyable. However, it is very, very greasy when it comes out of the oven. The overall pizza was good. You cn also ask for no crotons on the salad, and they don't put on the dressing themselves. It comes in a little container.

They have gf crust, use a separate cutter, and will get safe ingredients, however, the mats they use to cook the gf pizza are not cleaned in between uses and there is no guarantee that the oven down side will not be the pizza side the next time so there is a huge chance of significant cross contamination.
