The staff was very knowledgeable. Put sauce on pizza from a separate container. Placed pizza in grill on a pad to prevent cross contamination. Very good pizza! Keto and cauliflower crust are gluten free along with traditional gluten free crust option.

Celiac friendly. Cross contamination possible because of the oven and person making your food. Never had an issue but you never know. Awesome variety of crusts and toppings!

I would not eat at this location if you have celiac. They DID NOT use a dedicated dough press. They did get a dry paper towel and brush off all the flour that was on the dough press but when I asked if that was all they do to clean it, they said it was the best they could do. They were good about washing their hands, getting new gloves. They told me they use clean utensils and keep everything separate. However, as soon as they started using the same dough press I was out and not risking it. I’m so happy I didn’t call in my order and I went in to watch them make it. Be careful if considering eating here!

They offer Gf crust but that’s about it. There was Gluten everywhere! Even with a glove change there is still traces of gluten in the cheese and all the toppings. They are supposed to cook the Gf pizza on a separate tray in the oven but our pizza was deliberately taken off the GF tray to finish cook the center. Unfortunately this is not an option for celiacs period.

Gluten free and Keto crust options. He asked if it is an allergy and changed gloves for me. All pizza toppings were marked clearly. The gluten free crust was very good. Everyone who was with me liked the regular crust a lot too.

They have had to remake my pizza all 3 times I've visited because they don't understand when I tell them I have an allergy. I guess it's my fault for going back 3 times... They say that they can accommodate but then I watch them use all sorts of contaminated utensils if you don't hover and be an asshole customer because I don't want to be sick... But it is good pizza, once they've made it for the third time after contaminating the first 2

Ordered gluten free allergy, witnesses a lot of cross contamination. Got my money back. Not eating here. Be careful at these pizza places, never know how poor the training is.

Mixed review. Pizza was good, I didn’t get noticeably glutened, and they were extremely busy after a football game. While they were aware of gluten precautions, I had to be watching and asking for them to be carried out. They did clean the dough press and used separate gloves in preparation. When it was cooling there was a liner under it to prevent cross contamination. Then at the end, they used the same tongs as everyone else’s to put the pizza on a plate. So, you either do it or you don’t, execution needs to be better.

Blaze Pizza can accommodate gluten-free dietary needs. The dough is kept on a red/Black mat throughout the process. There is a dedicated gluten-free marinara sauce and pizza cutter. All of the meats and cheeses are gluten free except for the meatballs. There is also a dedicated gluten-free pizza cutter. Blaze offers build your own but they now charge for the GF dough. Their lemonade is also fantastic. There have been times though where I have to monitor the entire process to ensure there is no cross-contamination.

Not celiac friendly. They took precautions with my food but I still got sick. Too much cross contamination risks here.

Two recent visits in past month. First time the dedicated prep area was used and all precautions taken. The second visit, the employee said she had Celiac herself so I was excited (I knew I would get a cc free pizza). I watched in amazement to see that she started using the general prep area and then I asked for clean utensils and the separate allergy prep area that was used the last time. I felt like I was a burden. None the less, I have to protect my kid who has Celiac. I watched it prepped and had to intervene twice for safe practices. First visit 5 stars, second visit 3

Had a delicious pizza here at Blaze. Staff was nice and very accommodating to my gluten free diet. The girl making my order changed her gloves and put my pizza on a gluten sensitive mat to cook. I had the cauliflower crust and it was wonderful and perfectly crispy on the outside and still chewy inside. (Warning: cauliflower crust contains cheese) But there are 2 other other gluten sensitive crust to check out. The condiments and sauce were tasty. The only thing off is that they had no salt and pepper. Just salt and oregano. Which was odd. But everything else was still good.

As someone with Celiac, I would say that it is risky to eat here. Nevertheless I did, and it was delicious, and I didn't get sick. Staff seem knowledgeable about contamination issues and try their best to minimize the risk. They change their gloves and clean the pizza dough roller prior to rolling out the gluten free dough. They also have a few choices of dough including a keto dough. They also keep the pizza on other own silicone-like mat, so that in the oven it doesn't come in contact with what the other pizzas rest on. If you have celiac, I would say use your best judgement, I'm pretty sensitive but had no issues here.

They offer Both a cauliflower crust And a regular gluten-free crust. They put a red sticker on your order showing that it is gluten-free. They change their gloves and they have a dedicated gluten-free sauce so that it doesn’t touch the other sauce that has touched the regular pizza dough. The texture and flavor of the gluten-free dough is very very good. This restaurant is comparable to MOD Pizza. But given the choice over both of them I would choose blaze Pizza.

This location was great when they first opened But...the last time I went the staff was clueless, the counter was covered in flour and I got sick from the food. It is no longer a safe place to eat.

I had the white top pizza on a GF crust and it was delicious! Very flavorful. I also experienced great customer service. I gave five stars because of the great taste and service, and I didn’t have any reactions after eating here. I am celiac and pretty sensitive so I think this is safe. However, I will tell you that there is a high risk of cross-contamination and that could worry some people. I was worried, too, until I saw the number of precautions they take. I asked the girl who took my order if she would change her gloves before handling my crust. She very willingly agreed and wrote “glove change” on my order. The guy who actually handles my crust not only changed his gloves but also cleaned the press they use to shape the crust. And he had a special mat to cover the wooden board they use for baking the crusts. Every person who touched my pizza changed their gloves. And the guy who cut it used a GF cutter, clearly marked with a red handle.

Gluten free press is down and they were going to clean with salt and a paper towel. I explained that this isn’t safe for food allergies and soap and water is the only way to prevent contamination. Manager was consulted (who never left the back) and I heard him yell through that it would ruin the plates to use anything but salt and a paper towel. I said, “No thanks!” and walked out. Will not return. They have no clue about true food allergies here!!

Worst quick-service pizza place I've been to. And unlike Fresh brothers and Pizza Rev, they don't care about taking allergy precautions. Cross-contamination Central! Hard pass for me... Unless they start being aware that if they offer gluten free pizza, it needs to actually be gluten free. Otherwise it's just a different kind of crust.

They are great with. Being careful about CEO’s contamination. They ask if it’s an allergy and they change their gloves. The sauce is covered and separate. They have vegan cheese, great for me since I am dairy free also. The pizza itself is not that great. But it takes care of a craving when I want a pizza.

They don’t make a celiac friendly pizza at Blaze Pizza. They told me it’s “Gluten Friendly” - they physically touch tools and pans to wheat pizzas and then use them on the gluten “free” pizza. It shouldn’t even be on the menu, NOT SAFE for celiac, something they themselves should be up front with. IMO, this is a BAD company, making people sick by thoughtlessly calling their pizza “gluten free”

I explained the severity of my allergy to the first person who started making my pizza and had the entire cook line change their gloves. They asked me if i needed my pizza fired away from the other pizzas and they put my pizza on a special mat to avoid cross contamination. They kept my pizza paper separate from all the others and even used a separate CLEAN pizza cutter for my pizza. Great experience!

Told them I had celiacs and couldn’t have gluten. Got the half pizza half salad and they gave me the gluten free crust, but then dumped croutons all over my salad. We explained again and the person behind the counter got frustrated and asked if they could just take the croutons off and give it back.

Perhaps I encountered the wrong worker, but he seemed clueless about gluten free needs. When I told him cross contamination was an issue, he didn’t understand that sauce, cheese, and toppings needed to come from new containers. He also kept asking other workers to make my pizza and moving other customers’ pizza ahead of mine before finally doing it himself. The taste was good but customer service had much room for improvement.

Update 9/9/19: Now giving 4 stars. Since this initial review, this has become our go to place for pizza. Also, if you go on a day that Garrett is working, he will take extra good care of your order. He has a Celiac mother so he understands CC first hand. If he is able, he will handle your pizza from start to finish. ________ There was quite a bit of miscommunication amongst the staff with our three GF pizzas and one rude worker so that didn't help make our first visit there very nice. The manager ended up handling our order but it was a debacle! The pizza is very good and a good size (12"). They changed gloves for us and had a designated handler. They only offer premade salads in the cooler and they were clueless about whether the dressings were GF, even the manager. Another disappointment. We chose to get a Caesar salad and they happily changed out the dressing to balsamic vinaigrette at my request. The salad had been packaged with croutons but they were in a separate section that I removed. I was ready to sit down at that point and didn't let it bother me. Pizza is probably worth a 4 -5 stars but the service and salad situation was a deterrent for sure.

Two gluten free crust options. Knowledgeable about prep cross contamination. Cooked where you can see it (worth keeping an eye on the oven tender: they had to remake mine one of the times I was there because it was pushed up against a gluten pizza). Separate cutters, color coded. Cooked on a rubber mat so it doesn’t touch the oven (like the gluten pies). Didn’t get sick either time! Feel very safe, especially since I can see it being cooked.

If you are eating here for gf, dont even bother. Nice enough place. They took the spoons they used for the sauce that had been wiped all over regular gluten pizza to spread the sauce and used it to spread the sauce on my gf pizza....all after asking me if it was for allergy or preference and me saying allergy. Also the gf crust really isnt that good. It tastes like the gf crust at pie five. Got sick after going here.

Consistently made me sick after...tons of cross-contamination because toppings are shared between GF & non-GF pizzas. They do change gloves & use a separate spoon to put sauce on & something under the GF pizza when it goes in the shared oven. Do not eat here if you are celiac!

They spread the sauce on the gluten pizza then used the same ladle to spread it on the GF pizza. Cross- contamination here is high.

It seems they've recently started taking gluten free preparation more seriously as part of their training, but it still depends on who you get assembling your pizza. Make sure to insist they use a different tub of sauce and a different ladle to pour/spread it. The same goes for any ingredients that need to be added with a utensil - that utensil needs to be dedicated gluten free. Also, watch your pizza in the oven closely. Some of the employees will let you know if your pizza slid off the plate they use to prevent cross-contamination, and will offer to re-make your pizza. Some won't. You can get good gluten free pizza out of this place, you just need to be attentive and assertive. However, remember to also be polite and understanding - you're representing the rest of this community.

They have a gluten free crust available but they cook all pizzas in the same brick oven. Definite chance for cross contamination. If you have celiac disease I definitely would not recommend.

They have 2 different gf crusts. one with cauliflower and a regular one. I don't know how safe it is in terms of cross contamination as they have to put the toppings on. But they had a silicone mat for the oven so the dough didn't touch it. I did not have a reaction.

They USED to have amazing gluten free fresh crust. They have since changed to gf Keto and Cauliflower crust options at double the price. This is a huge failure to the gluten free community as it's now expensive and mediocre.

Good cauliflower crust. With coaching, the staff took good precautions, but there's a small risk of contamination. I had the cauliflower simple pie and did not get sick.

Their new cauliflower crust is amazing! I don’t suggest it if you have celiacs, but for people like me who have an autoimmune disease I can get away with a little cross contamination.

This is a gluten free friendly place but not Celiac friendly. There is cross contamination since they put it in the same oven as the other pizzas and I believe the dough is made in the same place with other regular dough

Like Blaze pizza. Liked it more with GF homemade crust instead of premade cauliflower and keto. They change gloves if allergy. A lot has changed in prep since changing dough and the pizza crust cooks faster than toppings so leave a subpar pizza. However not once have I gotten sick from here! You do have to monitor and it depends on who is working.

They use the same press for dough as their regular pizzas. One time I had symptoms of gluten, one time I did not. Ingredients are often cross contaminated. I'd not eat here if I were celiac.
