We are GF because our families/friends are GF. It's easier than the industry thinks to accommodate allergies!

On safety—BLENDED (Glenview & Evanston) is dedicated to accommodating as many allergies & dietary restrictions as possible so everyone can feel safe eating with us. We only use gluten free flour (Bob's Red Mill) when baking, and our cooking equipment has never been exposed to any items containing wheat (nor has our store). Our staff is required to ask every customer about potential allergies/restrictions and cannot finish the ordering process without knowing this information, which is then printed on every ticket. Our Granola is naturally GF, DF, Peanut Free (Bob's Redmill again), but is not made in a gluten free facility. BUT... for our customers with Celiac Disease we do keep GF Granola from a GF facility in a separate container/area (as to not confuse the two) so that we can accommodate their needs (also noted on the ticket). All of our smoothies & acai bases are naturally gluten free made with fresh fruit & nut milks. Our proteins are also certified GF.

Love this place. The waffle was amazing. Can’t wait to go back to try the soup and muffins tomorrow. Very knowledgeable about celiac and safety. It may not have a gluten free menu but it is definitely safe for celiacs. They even ask when ordering if there is a celiac diagnosis.

There are so many GF and DF options here! The smoothies and blows are dairy free, and so is the chocolate drizzle. The banana bread is my favorite! This is an amazing brunch place and I go here as much a I can! It is amazing and the workers are super nice, definitely come here!

We care about keeping you safe so we will always ask if you have any allergies or restrictions, it's the way of the world. We don't want anyone to feel like they can't enjoy our menu, and frankly our owner is NOT GF, DF or Vegan, and she has come up with all of these recipes! The goal is to offer a non-restrictive menu that everyone can enjoy without the concern of feeling sick later! And family members or friends do not have to feel like they are 'compromising' and limiting their options, because they will never taste the difference!

Gluten free cooking has come a LONG way, and we intend on taking the stigma out of dietary restrictions!

We do not claim to be a certified GF location (because frankly, we enjoy Cookie Butter too much) but we do offer a menu that is 95% GF naturally and care enough about our customers to avoid any potential for cross contamination (just don't order a Cookie Butter Drizzle!).

Our staff is trained and ready to answer any questions you have to make you feel 100% comfortable supporting our small business and sharing us with your family & friends!
