I am very sensitive to gluten. The waitress was impatient and put out by my questions. After consulting with the kitchen, we settled on the wings. Was sick all afternoon. Likely due to cross contamination in the cooking oil.
I am very sensitive to gluten and have eaten here twice with no issue. I let the waitress know and she informs the kitchen and the food comes out great.
several gluten free options to choose from.
Ate here last weekend while visiting my son. Called ahead of time and asked about there GF choices, and if they could make sure there was no cross contamination. After talking with the manager we headed to supper. It was a game weekend. So, their menu is condensed, and not as big as usual because it was a game weekend. I was kind of disappointed about that. But what I had was very good and will go back again. Hopefully not on a game weekend next time.
Very easy menu to choose from options. The waitress was knowledgeable on what we could have. The gluten free crust for their flatbread is made in house. Also, loved the home made blue cheese dressing.
The menu has a few items marked gluten free. But they have shared friers. The buffalo wings are marked gluten free. If you say 'allergy' then they will grill the wings. Otherwise cross contamination. Pizza and sandwiches are not marked gluten free but the description says they can be made gluten free for additional charge. The gluten free pizza is really good. I like it a lot. Blue Moose and Papa Murphy's are my favorite when I want to risk pizza. Blue Moose also does take out. They have Angry Orchard on draft, so it counts for happy hour. The hummus is gluten free but not marked gluten free. In the description it states you can get veggies to make it gluten free. We really like it. There's a good assortment of veggies plus feta and olives. The flourless chocolate 'cake' is alright. My wife thought it was great. But I've had much better. It's not rich enough, not enough chocolate. I'm more dark and my wife is more milk chocolate. I haven't tried the gluten free bun for sandwiches yet. I haven't tried because they come with fries and they charge to substitute for a salad. It just feels like too much because the gf bun has an extra charge too. The non-celiacs in my family love Blue Moose. They have a lot of great choices. But the kids menu doesn't really have gluten free. My son loves the hummus and pizza.
I don't trust them. I made sure to order off the (limited) gf menu and told the server I was also allergic to corn. My (medium) steak was blood red inside and burned on the outside, and the side dish had corn in it. It really seemed like they don't know what they are doing in the kitchen. The server didn't know the answer to any questions and the manager never came out. I did not feel comfortable ordering anything else and had to wait for my party to finish eating so I could go somewhere safer.
