Fantastic breakfast egg scramble with some of the best GF bread (toast) I’ve ever had.

I told the person behind the counter I have two people with me with celiac and verified that the two breakfast options breakfast tacos and breakfast hash) labeled gf on the menu were safe. However, after I placed the order, the cook came to our table and explained that there is cross contamination (same grill, surfaces) and the items are not safe for celiac. He was extremely friendly, apologetic and kind. I asked about the gf cookies and pastries in the display case and he verified those are made in a clean kitchen. He let me cut to the front of the line to order gf coffee cake, gf orange loaf, and two gf cookies. He also said their Poet’s Bowl (beans and rice) is gf, and he could also offer gf yogurt with honey and apples. He was very helpful and considerate.

Also, the barista at the counter said they have gf bread but it’s sliced on the same surface as the rest of their bread.

I went here based on the reviews. However the staff informed me they cook all food on the same flat-top and no way to take precautions in their bakery. I did not eat here and do not recommend eating here if Celiac.

We get a certain kind of GF cookie here that is absolutely our favorite. The GF cookies are in glass jars, separate from their other gluten items, we've never gotten sick, but it is most certainly not a dedicated gluten free kitchen.

I went here for breakfast. I got the scrambled eggs with toast, it was delicious! The staff was extremely friendly and said most of their food can be made gluten free (by changing the bread), so lots of options for breakfast. Treat wise, the only option was the coffee cake.

I got a gluten free coffee cake here. It was delicious. It was in a shared display case but they used separate tongs for the gluten free items.

Loved this place! GF orange juice cake was to die for. I had the GF breakfast sandwich and the GF toast was delicious! It’s all vegan but this meat lover was still satisfied with the tempeh sausage. A must try!

I LOVE the Blue Scorcher. That said, when I visited this weekend they didn’t have any GF baked goods at all. In the past I’ve been able to get GF banana bread or scones. They did have a breakfast taco that was GF. You’d prob be better going elsewhere in Astoria (like the Green Door Cafe or 14th St Cafe)

Gluten free bread and baked goods for non- celiac people; cashier told me if I had celiac then I shouldn’t eat here; I had a boiled egg and coffee and it was fine

The Reuben sandwich was fantastic. I had it with the Gluten free bread and loved it. Great and fast service. The mint tea was wonderful as well. They can make most of the items with their gluten free bread options so you have most of the menu to pick from.
