I was excited about a gluten free wrap. And it tasted amazing but I had a bad gluten reaction after. I have tried it twice and the same both times. The staff was all super nice and showed me what was in the marinade of the wrap I was getting. But it obvious that there was a lot of cross contamination in the back where stuff was made. Wish places wouldn’t offer gf options if they don’t prepare it in a safe place. So if you have celiac like me don’t recommend if you are doing gf for other reasons it was an amazing wrap :( super sad I won’t be able to get it again.
Do not eat here. I was so disappointed that they didn’t know the protocols for their gluten free wraps. After reviewing them multiple times with the young lady I placed my order with I watched the kitchen put my tortilla on the board with zero paper and cross contaminate my food. Upon questioning why they didn’t use paper and inquiring on redoing my food they insisted they scrubbed the board. It was visibly stained and I never saw any scrubbing happening. I didn’t feel well after eating a portion of my wrap. Save yourself getting sick & pass on this location. The Cypress location is safe with well trained staff. Go there!
Ate here today with zero reactions. I had the Turkey club but I didn’t know if the bacon was gluten free so I got it no bacon. The young man taking my order already knew protocols with new board, knife, and change gloves. I asked them to pull the lettuce and tomatoes from the back. I ordered it as gluten free wrap. Chips offered were gluten free marked on the bag. Great experience here! I’ll definitely be back.
Always a good experience, haven’t gotten sick & have eaten here many time. I’m very sensitive to cross contamination :)
Board & Brew can make pretty much any of their sandwiches as a GF wrap. They also carry the Dirty brand of potato chips, which are GF.
Cider and hard kombucha are available on tap. The bartender assured me the coffee was completely GF. I assume the kombucha is likely GF as well, but as the place was busy I didn’t ask the bartender to double check.
The staffer who took my order told me they can handle severe gluten allergies. He informed me they wipe down prep surfaces and change gloves for any orders marked as allergen.
I enjoyed the Turkado sandwich in a GF wrap with a cider.
