Bokie's Drive In

They are famous for the Northern New York Glazier (Red) Hot Dogs with gluten free buns. I ordered sweet potato fries with Heinz ketchup. I order soft ice cream in a dish with toppings from a bottle only.

Picnic tables outside as well as booths inside. There are hoopla hoops outside for anyone to use. Booster seats inside for toddlers. Outside there are cutouts, such as Betty Boop, to take photo with.

Ordered hot dog in gluten free bun and it was served with a regular bun. It was a split-top bun which I have never seen before in gf so I took it back to counter to inquire and was informed order had been made wrong. Sooo glad I did not eat it. Two stars for offering gf buns and cones but they need to be more careful.

The owner, Carrie, runs this seriously cool little burger and ice cream joint. They have GF buns/rolls for their dogs and burgers, and if you ask, they usually have a safe, dedicated fryer for their delicious handcut fries. The burgers are sooo good!!! You can help yourself to popcorn while you wait in their 50’s-60’s themed dining area. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is super cool. They have GF ice cream cones too! Sweet! I am not Celiac, but I cannot eat gluten, and I’ve never had a problem here. We love Bokies!
