If you let the waiter know you have a problem with gluten they are good about letting the kitchen know. I honestly ask waitstaff at this point to mark on the ticket that I have a problem with gluten, but I do not know if they do this normally. The food itself is very good although your gluten free choices are a bit limited. Over all this is a pretty good place to eat.
The waiter I had didn’t know what celiacs is, but another waiter assured me that they mark gluten free dishes in the kitchen to avoid cross contamination. They have a pretty good menu selection. I had the sirloin steak, but my mom had the scallops and shrimp and I would definitely recommend that.
Food, customer service, and atmosphere were nothing short of excellent! Gluten free menu has many options, including dessert! Best fish I have ever had! Did not taste fishy at all! Garlic mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus were amazing! Flourless brownie with raspberry sauce, macadamia nuts, whipped cream, and ice cream was decadent!
They have a server who is gluten free herself, and gave us some great recommendations. The food is great and had no problems eating here. I cannot say enough good things about our server. The gluten free dessert menu was amazingly good and I can't believe the quality of the desserts!
Excellent service. Ask for Janetta to be your server. She is gluten free herself and she gave us some great recommendations.
PLEASE NOTE: This review is only regarding DESSERT. Bonefiish Grill in Omaha has *flourless Macadamia Nut Brownies*!!! They are delicious and soft and gluten-free... I can't say enough good things about their dessert menu, and I'm hoping to try their dinner menu, too, next time we're in Omaha.
My family and I eat here regularly and have never had a problem. Servers are knowledgeable and there is a separate GF menu. Great food and great service - my celiac daughter has never had an issue here. The fish is always an option but she usually gets the steak which is top-notch.
They had a gluten free menu with lots of choices. No fried food or bread substitutes were available. The server had a GF daughter, and the manager also has celiac. The vegetable sides were somewhat unimpressive. The broccoli was way overcooked and salty. The potatoes were an ice cream cone scoop full, but were tasty enough. The fish was very good, both the mahi mahi and the shrimp. The manager came over to check and shared that she really educates the kitchen on gluten allergies. I felt very safe eating there and had no adverse reaction. I’d go back again and try to pick a different vegetable side. The atmosphere was very nice as well.
Excellent selection of gf options. I gave them my Equal Eats card and they were diligent about ingredients and made sure I didn’t have any foods I can’t eat in my dish. Ate the shaved Brussels salad and swapped out the salmon for chicken.
You can swap shrimp, chicken, and salmon out for proteins. They have a large selection of dishes and sides that are safe to eat.
We also ate the macadamia nut brownie dessert and it was fabulous! Highly recommended, make sure to share the dessert it’s huge!
Bonefish grill has a great gluten free menu, and even had gluten free desserts (that were not just a bowl of fruit with whipped cream)! It was tasty and I felt comfortable with my meal as our server double checked with the chef that the special I ordered was gluten free.
