They told me straight up that all they have GF is their buns, and everything else is cross-contaminated. No dedicated fryer, no GF menu.
Non-existent. Just buns.
No menus, either. You have to go online to find their menu.
Ate here before a Cowboys game and I highly recommend it. Was thrilled to have my questions about how they handle gluten-free requests be met with thorough and positive answers. Was able to get some delicious loaded cheese fries as well as a decent burger on a gluten free bun! Such a treat to get a filling, sports-bar meal on a game day without having to worry about accidentally having something with gluten.
All GF items on their menu are marked with a "GF" (no separate menu to ask for). Their burger was tasty and they were able to make my fries in a designated fryer to not cross contaminate. Items that are GF will come out on a blue sheet of paper.
So, the trick here is even if the menu says gluten free, you must order it gluten free for then to use dedicated fryer. You will know if it was prepared properly because food will be served on blue and white checked paper. I love the GF super bowl nachos with brisket and the California Ranch Chicken Sandwich the best. Also the ranch dressing here is the best.
I had the California Burger twice because it was so delicious! The bun was amazing. They have a nice variety of food and its labeled as GF on the regular menu. Loaded fries and potatoe skins are also very good!
Terrible place to go for gluten free. I went here tonight for dinner. I don't eat gluten free stuff very often because I am mainly paleo but the weather was crazy and this place is a block from where we live and we were out of food. I ordered a gluten free bun and emphasized the importance of it. Halfway through my burger I realized it was not a gluten free bun. The manager only offered to comp my meal. A week of being sick for a $8 burger.
Delicious GF options from nachos to burgers to dinner selections.
Best GF burger and buns in the area. I've had the burger twice and the grilled chicken sandwich. The bun is very tasty and doesn't fall apart. Each time, I've been delightfully please. I did make it a point to stress I need my food to be GF. Also you can make your fries loaded for a small additional charge.
Before tonight, I have always enjoyed being able to have a gluten free burger here. But as a celiac, I will not be able to go back. I recieved my burger and in the middle of eating it, noticed there was a piece of fried mozzarella stuck to the bottom of it. They were nice enough to take it off my bill, but it confirmed that the gluten free food is prepared in the same area as the rest. Not a safe place to eat.
They have several gluten free dishes AND gluten free Redbridge beer. Great service too.
My wife had a GF hamburger and she got super sick. She is very sensitive to gluten and any cross contamination is bad news for her. We also forgot her gluten digest pills which can help with a small amount of cross contamination. Just a fair warning.
Went for my birthday and told server twice GF. Took one bite and knew there was no way the bun was gluten free. Server said she didn't know what the GF bun looked like. Brought out actual GF bun and it was noticably different looking. Called and spoke to manager and didn't feel like either the server nor manager seemed to concerned.
Not at all appropriate for celiacs. In fairness the manager was very forthcoming that they use a shared fryer and there is otherwise (even for most of their other food) a high likelihood of cross-contamination. They don’t even indicate which items are definitely not safe. Basically they have gluten-free buns available. They used to at least try.
