Not for celiacs , they explained to me that food is not really gluten free

Started feeling sick today after eating here. I took leftovers home and tested my food with my Nima Sensor and gluten was found. I called and the manager, Steve, told me he was sorry but they are gluten sensitive not gluten free. I won’t be eating here again, not safe for Celiacs. **I now go to the Grapevine location. They are much more attentive and understanding, I’ve never had a problem!!

One of my favorite restaurants - gluten free food comes out on blue paper, and they have a dedicated fryer. Food quality and service are great - extremely consistent. It seems like staff is trained very well and a manager is always checking in. Love the cheese fries, and love that a fresh garden salad is an option for a side dish. This place does get very busy in the evenings, so we try to go for lunch. Maybe the less positive reviews are from dinner time?

I have Celiac and I ate at Boomerjack's last night. I was so hopeful (naive?), but I was 100% "glutened" there. (Still feeling the effects as I type this.) I live less than 10 min away, so this is very disappointing.
It seems the only way you can truly trust a restaurant is if they're exclusively GF or if the chef is highly aware of Celiac and makes sure his STAFF is well-trained & conscientious when preparing GF offerings.
I understand that it isn't easy for a restaurant to provide GF offerings, but Boomers shouldn't be promoting a dedicated GF menu if they aren't willing to properly train their staff & ensure that protocols are enforced. They're playing around with people's health.

The staff was great. They where very cautious about being gluten sensitive. Highly recommended. Good job staff and thank you.

I ask for my sandwich to be GF and the mashed potatoes. However, when the food came out it was not GF they have blue paper to tell if it was prepared GF and it wasn't on that and my bun looked the same as my boyfriends. Another waitress (not the one that took the order) saw that something was wrong and came over and asked what was wrong and noticed it was not right. I got it fixed but I think they just switched out the bun and put it on the different paper because I got really sick after eating it. Really hesitate to go back.
Local oven gf buns are very good and the staff are trained. Fries can be cooked in a dedicated fryer.
This place is pretty good. They have a pretty good gf menu. I have gotten sick before from here so I'm hesitant to go back.
it was good, but not as good as it looks or as I thought it wad gonna be
Excellent burger and fries! And the bun was even the best gluten free bun I've had! The manager is very knowledgeable about gluten and says they regularly undergo training regarding gluten free food preparation. Many gluten free selections on the menu and they have a gluten free grill and gluten free fryers. The manager told us that they'll soon offer a gluten free chicken fried steak! Can't wait!!!
Went a few weeks ago and was very impressed with their selection. Manager came and explained that fries are done in a separate fryer, all the cooks are trained on GF needs, etc. And, they don't charged extra for GF. Will definately be back.
My husband and I eat here a few times a month. I always get the double smash burger with a gluten free bun, and a side salad with honey mustard. I eat their loaded fries a lot too. I have never had a reaction from here. It’s one of my favorites.

Went for my birthday and told server twice GF. Took one bite and knew there was no way the bun was gluten free. Server said she didn't know what the GF bun looked like. Brought out actual GF bun and it was noticably different looking. Called and spoke to manager and didn't feel like either the server nor manager seemed to concerned.

No more gf fries because they used to hand cut them and now they buy frozen which includes a breading according to the manager! I did have the chicken pesto on a gf bun that was very good.

Not at all appropriate for celiacs. In fairness the manager was very forthcoming that they use a shared fryer and there is otherwise (even for most of their other food) a high likelihood of cross-contamination. They don’t even indicate which items are definitely not safe. Basically they have gluten-free buns available. They used to at least try.
