Omg! I had a hard time believing that chocolate croissant was gf but I’m Still standing. Can’t wait for the almond croissant I got for tomorrow’s breakfast.

We arrived at 10:30am on a Tuesday and the entire bakery was empty. We had to call out to employees in the back storeroom to help us. No food or drink items were available, even in the coolers, and we were told they would receive a delivery of food later in the morning. I can understand selling out of some items, but to have an entire the entire bakery empty during business hours was a huge disappointment.

Absolument extraordinaire! C'est la première fois que je mange un croissant sans gluten qui est si près de l'original. J'ai mangé un sandwich croissant et un morceau de gâteau lors de ma visite. Tous les deux étaient sublimes. Je suis repartie avec deux sacs de croissants et chocolatines demi-cuits congelés et de la pâte feuilleté pour rapporter à la maison. Tout est sans gluten et plusieurs offres sont ketos aussi.

These croissants are the BEST GF croissants I have EVER tasted. I’ve tried GF croissants at both Noglu in New York and Mariposa bakery in San Francisco and both were just ok and reinforced to me that a good GF croissant just wasn’t possible. Not anymore!! These are flaky on the outside and buttery rich on the inside. You’ll think you went back to your gluten eating days! Truly incredible, compliments to the baker! The eclairs are yummy too!

Since receiving my celiac diagnosis have been really sad about not being able to have pastries anymore. These were the best pastries I have had yet! So buttery and flaky, even my gluten eating friends couldn’t tell the difference. Definitely will be bringing lots home with me!

I was excited to try this bakery based off the reviews, the croissants were delicious (we had chocolate and almond). We tried a chocolate cake and chicken wrap too - both were underwhelming. The staff was incredible - overall it was worth it for the croissant.

Best croissants I have ever had since being GF! They have have pastries and goods but also have more meal options such as empanadas, croissants sandwiches and wraps I would recommend warming up even if you take to go (with smoked meat depending on the time)! I was staying very near buy in a hotel and it made having lunch so much easier with this grab and go option I’ll call it!

Great little burger place, home made veggie burgers were delicious!! Fries were in a separate fryer and felt fine after…my twins are gluten free vegetarians and loved the grilled cheese and veggie burger!

Dedicated gluten free and you would never know it! Absolutely delicious and very flavourful. We had the chicken empanadas, croissant sandwich, almond croissant and chocolate and almond croissant and everything was amazing! We will definitely return here again.

It was really good!! Everything is also DF which is amazing and they also have some Vegan/ Keto options. I had the almond croissant. It was definitely the best GF croissant I’ve had. It was so moist and a very similar texture to a regular croissant. I also got a wrap and it was super tasty and the wrap was very nice and fresh. Not like your typical GF wrap which falls apart.

I cried celiac tears of joy biting into my first croissant since I was diagnosed at 16… SO GOOD. SO MANY OPTIONS. I went with my well traveled, non-celiac European friend and she wasn’t able to tell the difference and thought it was great. Will be visiting here multiple times every time I’m in Montreal :)

I have had the pleasure and privilege to be able to travel the all the Great Lakes Cities and can say that this place has simply the best croissants, chocolate, almond, cheese and sandwiches. It's next level and worth a gf pilgrimage.

So good! I have eaten probably too many croissants over the last few days but I have no regrets. These things are massive and perfectly flaky. They blow the frozen Schar and the Noglu croissants out of the water. In particular I recommend the almond and almond chocolate.

Absolutely incredible!!! We are able to get frozen croissants from this bakery locally—but it DOES NOT compare. Fresh is 110% the way to go. The pastries are divine, the savoury food’s are more so-so but still worth trying!

Everything in there is gluten free. There are also many options that are dairy free and sugar free. I’m not sure about egg because I wasn’t paying close attention. US foods tend to be much sweeter so if you’re a sugar addict, go for the savory foods. I would definitely recommend.

Great croissants (The best). Freshly baked each day after opening, so get there about 9:30-11 am for hot fresh croissants. Empanadas great as a to go lunch option. Pizza was nice one day for lunch. Really you can’t go wrong. They don’t have a huge drink menu, but who cares?!? You can get drinks elsewhere.

Absolutely amazing - must visit when you’re in Montreal. Restaurant is 100% gluten free, so no worries about cross contamination. I very much enjoyed the Atlantic croissant (gf croissant with smoked salmon, lettuce, cucumber, cream cheese) - this is the first time I’ve had a GF croissant since diagnosis and wish I could have them here every day! I also enjoyed the raspberry cake, which was good but very sweet. Definitely can’t wait to try more of the options when I visit Montreal next! They also have drink options, including hot chocolate with alternative milk options. Side note: server did speak English and switched to English when I was struggling with my French, but was very friendly!

This was my final stop on my way out of Montréal and it’s a celiac’s dream. I don’t think I’ve had a croissant since I’ve been diagnosed and the almond one was 10/10 even after making the 4 hour trip home. They do have seating if you want to eat there!

The man working was so kind and made sure to give me the best looking pastries in the case 😂 he also let me practice my rusty French. Overall a safe space for celiacs and a must visit.

I was so excited to find Marquis! It’s 100% GF. The croissants were amazing AND dairy free! (And you could take home a bag of frozen ones!)They also had a good selection of patisserie that were DF (some vegan!) which is rare, plus other lunch foods that mostly had dairy. They man working behind the counter did specifically look to try to find something I could have for lunch and they had a rice spinach chicken dish with no dairy. And just knowing it was all GF without having to worry was so…normalizing. No reaction to anything, and tons of yummy things I came home with.

The time saved with not having to explain cross-contact in a place would make this one worth the trip - but the pastries were also delicious. I had the Nutella croissant, the first croissant I’ve had since my diagnosis, and it tasted just like I remember the gluten-full ones tasting. Delicious. I then went back later to grab a wrap to take with me on a food tour of Montréal (since no food on the tour was safe for me). Had the ham and cheese with roasted vegetables and it hit the spot. They sell frozen croissants and now I’m regretting not buying them to check in my luggage home!
