I didn’t need to ask that many questions, most of the menu is GF (menu is really small anyway) and they made me feel safe. Super tasty too!
Since moving to Union Square a little under a year ago, I’ve eaten at Brass Union at least 3 times and have never had a reaction (I’m celiac and very sensitive to cross contamination.) The waitstaff (all lovely people) have always taken my food sensitivities very seriously and they always check with the chef to make sure the menu item I’m interested in can be made safely. I was nervous going in last night since they recently scrapped a lot of their dinner menu in favor of pizza, but I was able to get amazing pan-fried bluefish with a creamy sauce, and still didn’t have any reaction, despite their menu changes. The food is great, the cocktails are unique, and the atmosphere is super chill. I highly recommend the earl grey creme brûlée!
