Great gf menu. The food is excellent and the staff I'd knowledgeable.
This place has amazing tapas and many can be made gluten free. When walking in it is like entering a home, which opens into a back yard patio. The service was pretty good as well. It wasn’t long before our server came back to see if we needed anything else to order. To start, we had the red sangria, which was a great sangria. Then we had the baby kale salad and iberico jamon, which was very similar to what you’d find in Spain. This salad had a nice twist of kale to vinaigrette with a touch of cheese. The iberico was a great addition, very tasty and some fat to it. Next we had the clams and octopus. The clams were cooked perfectly and the sauce was so good! As for the octopus, again cooked nicely, a little less cooked than we normally are used to, but quite good. Lastly, we had the chocolate mousse, which was the perfect amount with a tangerine twist. All in all, it was a wonderful meal! Zero negative reaction. Definitely will return if in the area.
This is our first time to Healdsburg so… our first time to Braves Bar De Tapas. This restaurant is the reason to come back! I’m sure you could find so many reasons but… being celiac, this is the first reason! They have a separate GF menu, everyone knows how to handle GF safely. We ordered the Red Sangria! Loved it! the Bacon Wrapped Dates… super good! Crispy Skin Chicken Thighs… really good, skirt Steak… again really good and the Marinated Olives! The hard part is going to be coming back and not getting all of these! The menu has so many other things to order, but these were all so good! The Service… they get it! We were sat by Jessica who gave us a great little table on the back patio, the trees are filled with beautiful oranges! We were lucky to have Sophia as our server, she’s the real deal, actually from Spain and can steer you in the right direction! She knows gluten free and is a pleasure to speak with! We’re only here for a couple more days and will be here again!
Excellent service, knowledgeable on GF and DF items. Separate GF menu with a lot of options.
One of the best celiac safe meals I’ve had. They have a separate gluten free menu and the staff is very knowledgeable. Our server mentioned the frier was shared before I could even ask. Even offered to have fried dishes pan fried for me special before they got busy. Excellent food and well priced for what you get. Highly recommend.
Staff was very helpful to walk me through what was and wasn’t safe. They made sure to point out the two items that went into a shared fryer and wouldn’t be safe for celiac. We had a fantastic variety of things. I loved the cauliflower, kale salad, chicken, clams, and the orange custard for dessert.
OMG - the food here is amazing. And the have a very long GF menu of all sorts of delectables. We had the cauliflower with blue cheese, the sautéed mushrooms and squid and the scallops. All just tearfully wonderful. Definitely an new addition to our favorites. (Just sad that it is a good hour from home!)
Fabulous Tapas at Bravas and a great gluten free menu. We have eaten here many times. Always a great meal, lunch or dinner.
