Pretty decent food. Staff was very knowledgeable. Always disappointed when a restaurant like this doesn't have fries.
Great views and location for a chain! Good size GF menu.
Very knowledgeable about gluten free and the gluten free menu is pretty extensive. We ate here several times over our week long visit to the Cape and I never had an issue. Gluten free rolls for the burgers are delicious. They use a separate fryer for their gluten free chicken wings. I was happy to find this place! We will definitely be back!
Food was just ok. They did have decent g-free options. Chicken was very dry. Options were not that great but they did have gluten free possibilities.
Amazing gluten-free menu! I am very sensitive to gluten and had no issues at all! Melissa, our waitress, was very kind! The manager brings the gluten-free food himself while the waitress brings the other food to avoid cross contamination. I highly recommend this restaurant! The food was delicious too!
all I can say is by far the best gluten free option on cape cod... KEEP IT UP!!!!! you guys rock
BBC sets the standard in MA for gluten free chains. Full menu, and altho orders are a little slower and the food has slipped a little recently they are still tops.
Great gf menu! Staff was very careful & helpful!
Awesome gf food and menu! I went several times in my week stay. Great food for all, good atmosphere, right across from ocean!
Two of my immediate family members have Celiac Disease, and we frequent the BBC in Walpole. The GF selection is good (as well as kid friendly with pizza available), and the food is good. I am very careful with dining out, and the staff at the BBC are very conscientious regarding cross-contamination, and know what they're doing.
The decent gluten free options for adults, but my picky 7 year old does not eat many salads. They were great as they let us pick and choose items she liked to put her meal together. She ended up with some grilled chicken, mashed potato and ranch dressing for the chicken. This is close to home so we will be going back again.
gluten free pizza crust was very good. I think how I remember Chicago deep dish pizza was (it's been 6 +yrs). not Peta bread like, like most gf pizzas. very filling. 1 pizza is more than enough for 2 people. topping options could have been better. my father in law ordered a pizza with the pesto sauce and it looked really good. not many vegetarian options but we made it work. would definitely go back.
I had BBC food back when I was initially diagnosed (~2011) and I couldn't stand it. The pizza I had ordered was chalky and stiff. I have since gone back and ordered other food, and the other night I ordered another pizza, which was much better than what I had several years back. My one complaint is that the crust was a little too think for my liking, it was a little chewy which was fine but it felt like a lot of bread. I have yet to have any of their gluten free beers, but I'm sure they're great too. I'm glad they've started paying more attention to the gluten free menu, and it seems most people don't have any problems eating there as celiacs!
I love getting gf pizza at the bbc! I have never gotten sick after eating here. I get the bbq chicken gf pizza (it's no longer on the gf menu but just ask and the cook will know how to make it)! Also, they have a ton of ciders/gf beer! I highly recommend.
I love this BBC, they are one of my standbys. I have celiac and have to be careful. This spot always has a great entertainment too! In the winter they do Tuesday Night's, buy 1 pizza get 1 free and include the gf pizzas! Love their pizza and wings! Staff is great too and truly gets it!
UPDATE: I've decided to bring my rating up from 4 to 5 stars. Taste-wise, the GF options here are somewhat hit or miss: the pizza crust is only okay, while the burgers, quesadilla, and cheddar mashed potatoes are all quite good. What I most appreciate about this place is that its a laid-back, inexpensive restaurant where I can go with my friends or family. This is one of the most celiac-friendly bar/pub sort of places I've found. The last time I went here, the manager came out after we had placed our GF order. He asked whether it was for an allergy or celiac (which is a distinction that few restaurants actually make), and when I told him I was celiac, he said, "Okay, don't worry. We'll take care of you." Overall I feel safe eating here and appreciate their GF options.
I am from out of state and have eaten here two days in a row so far. Had a burger the first day which was cooked to my preference and the bun was better than any one i have ever had and ive been gf for 8 years. had the pizza the second day and i very much enjoyed it. the crust wasnt paper thin and cut my mouth like others have in the past. staff is also super friendly!
Many gluten free choices. No fries, but they do have mashed potatoes which were good. Waitress was knowledgeable about GF. GF bun was good, but the burger wasn't very good at all. I would never get a burger here again, but may try another of their GF items. Celiac friendly, but food just wasn't very good.
There gluten free selection is very good. They are very cautious with their cooking, and make the gluten free separately. Their staff is very nice. However they do not know how to cook their meat. It took three tries to get my steak well done. But the manager apologized several times and took it off our bill.
