Overall my rating would have been a 2 but with mold it's a 1. Should be zero. Basic food safety would have prevented that and as soon as I saw it I felt I could not longer trust the rest.
They also state they offer GF pancakes and waffles but after eating some my sister was not feeling great. This tells me they cook everything on the same surfaces/pans which is cross-contaminating gluten. This should be noted in the menu or by the server.
Amber seemed to be new to the server role. I get it, everyone starts somewhere. But attention to detail is everything in service. Empty glasses, missing sides, missing condiments, and being generally overwhelmed isn't a good look. She also seemed to have several more tables than the other two servers - neither of whom expressed a desire to assist until the manager/cook said something.
As for the mold (I have a real penicillin allergy), no one mentioned taking anything off for it and I'm skeptical that it was brought to the kitchen's attention. Fine. We just won't be back. Not worth getting sick over.
TL;DR -
Pros: quaint and quiet. Bathroom was clean. Our waitress, Amber, was friendly even if a bit overwhelmed.
Cons: service was severely lacking, mold on my English muffin with no compensation, no teamwork, no leadership

This place really needs to update their menu because they no longer offer anything GF (pancakes, waffles) other than GF bread. It’s such a shame because this was one of the only restaurants with a wide variety of GF options and now they no longer serve the majority of those options. Their website and menu online have yet to be updated so just wanted to write a review here so people know before they go that this place basically doesn’t offer much of what made them such a great GF restaurant option to begin with.

Couldn’t tell you since they didn’t have any supplies to make a gluten free breakfast.

Extensive gf options for breakfast; knowledgeable staff; but limited gf supplies. I had a Gf Belgium waffle. It was doughy in the middle but light in texture. Very good.

Few choices and pancakes came uncooked. They tried again and they came out truly uncooked and complained to me that gf was too hard to work with. Not friendly to celiacs.

I agree with some other reviews here as well. Especially recently, Britney's has taken GF more seriously and respectfully these days and we thank them for that.
Our Waitress was also extremely knowledgeable and accommodating about allergy as well. They are very aware of cross-contamination, gluten free allergy. The pancakes were amazing! They also offer waffles and toast.
The bread (for toast, french toast, sandwiches, etc) they use by the way is from UDI's, we asked. The UDI white loaf artisan bread has come a long ways since the beginning. UDI's originally used to be a lot more tasteless, crumbly, and brittle. Their manufacturing has come a long ways. Just remember to specify Gluten Free (e.g Bread, Toast, etc) when you order.
Britney's is very accommodating: As others have mentioned, Make sure to specify: "You are Gluten Sensitive", "Have an Allergy", and/or "Have Celiac" before hand.
And as someone else also mention: "They have a separate waffle maker and toaster, however, we have been there and they have run out of gluten free items (or only had enough for one person)".
Unrelated, as has always been the case in the winter subarctic days or months you might not want to sit to close at the 4-5 tables close to the door in the front especially at busy times as the crowds and number of people going in and out can make it (well like dining in the tundra) or having breakfast/lunch at the ski resort outdoors on a cold day.
Really nice friendly staff and good people though.

They do not take gluten allergies seriously. At all.
*Beware that sausages are crisped up in the fryer - While that makes them delicious with a yummy crust, server didn't realize that when someone orders gluten free pancakes/waffles that they shouldn't have anything that's been in a contaminated fryer. They can instead make the sausage on the grill, but make sure to specify!
I love having the option of my kids and I being able to get gluten free pancakes or waffles. They have a separate waffle maker and toaster, however, we have been there and they had run out of gluten free items (or only had enough for one kid).
More knowledgeable staff and no risk of running out would get them five stars! Just make sure to get there early and ask all the right questions!

Was happy to see so many gluten free items on their menu. I went with the gluten free French toast and it was delicious.
A few GF items on the menu. Food was fine but a little pricey for breakfast.

I have Celiac Disease... I communicated this to my server. Staff seemed super-busy. I wasn’t overly confident that they understood my need for no cross-contamination, so I ordered the one GF offering they had on the menu (cooked on its own dedicated iron): a waffle. It was undercooked and I was underwhelmed. The GF frozen waffles I buy at my grocery store taste better. We won’t be going back.

The staff was wonderful. They need to get rid of the cooks that are beyond slow.

On the week days they are horrible and rush and don’t listen to well
