I came because of the great rating here.
- they do not have GF items marked on menu
- there is no separate GF menu
- when I asked about GF he mentioned if I have a “celiac allergy” and let me know the ovens are shared and they use a lot of flour
- I tried asking what specifically I could get gluten free pizza wise and he said “anything/everything” and told me they gave vegan cheese, Vegas toppings etc (not sure if he was confusing vegan and gluten free…)
- I asked for a pizza with meatball and he informed me that has gluten actually
- tried asking again if he could please tell me which ingredients are not safe and he told me the rest are
- was able to sub meatball for different ingredients
- I got a pizza with balsamic and bacon on it, hoping for the best
- they forgot my balsamic and had to go back to ask for the drizzle
- I’m glad we preemptively got a Togo box because flies kept trying to get my pizza
Overall fine flavor etc. but neither person I spoke to was confident about discussing gluten with me.
I’m visiting Denver from NYC so was very interested in trying Brooklyn’s finest. Honestly, this pizza is BETTER than any GF pizza I’ve had at home. The crust is delicious— perfectly crispy. The person who took my order noted that I have celiac and they took extra precautions. Would definitely recommend!
Came here with a group of coworkers and was nervous because it was a by the slice place. After looking at the menu I saw that they have a gluten free crust. I got the 10 inch and they made it fresh. It was absolutely incredible and reminded me of pizza slices in NYC. I’m celiac and was too tired to ask about cross contamination (I know, I know) but I did not get sick.
