Brown Butter Baked Goods and Cafe

These donuts are incredible, especially the original brown butter one. The chocolate one was also divine. A little pricey as gf treats can be but 100% worth it. Will be back to try their other offerings. And, I will never go back to Sweet Ali’s! The Brown Butter donuts are exponentially better than anything they offer.

This bakery is amazing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The donuts are crazy good. We also have the breakfast burrito made gf with the jalapeño cheese bread. Best meal of the trip!

These little donuts are dreamy… as in, they’ll replace the cinnamon rolls and gluten filled donuts you dream of!

My personal favorite is the OG, followed by the cinnamon coffee cake. They both have their signature brown butter frosting. In its purest form, brown butter tastes like toffee, a little sweet and nutty with a heady caramel aroma. It’s a unique, complex flavor which is incredibly satisfying.

I highly encourage you to give this place a try!

My absolute favorite place! Nothing but amazing things things to say, and have always had an amazing and delicious experience! The owner is the most delightful person and I know there’s love behind every item she makes. I recommend Brown Butter to everyone — celiac/gluten intolerant or not. You will not be disappointed!

Nice little gluten free bakery, all the stuff I got was really good, although seemed to be absurdly expensive. I got 8 mini donuts, a cookie, and a mini quiche thing, cost $60. No prices on the bakery items so I wasn't sure what I was getting into so that's on me. I didn't eat at the cafe but there were a lot of options and seemed to be more reasonably priced, so if I go back I'll stick to the cafe.

The donuts are amazing. If you want the jalapeño cheese bread, be sure, and order a day ahead. It makes great toast, and sandwiches as well.

Fabulous Mini doughnuts and baked goods, all Gluten free! They make GF sandwiches and wraps but they also have regular bread, that is brought in. Sandwiches are prepared separately Gf from Regular.

This establishment is not dedicated GF but I feel very safe eating there. Donuts are delicious but more like a donut/muffin. Didn’t get sick. Kind of an uncomfortable vibe inside since it’s so small and one of the women working there is usually a bit rude. The donuts are worth it though.

I have celiac & I decided to give this place a try, best decision ever :) I got the breakfast burrito on the homemade gluten free jalapeño cheddar bread (which was amazing!) & a brown butter latte (which had coffee ice so the drink worn water down!- genius) overall, staff was so friendly and helpful when I asked about gluten free options! I love it here and I haven’t felt this safe eating out in a long time

Everything here is delicious. They have sandwiches, breakfast burrito, wraps, a quinoa salad and amazing sweet treats. It’s all gluten free and delicious. This is a must!!

Dawn the owner is always smiling and thankful for any person that walks in the door whether it’s their first time or a long time customer. Situated tight off the Fox River Trail with in-season outdoor seating, as well as cozy indoor seating this place is the perfect stop for comfort food. And the food: gluten free donuts, cheddar jalapeño bread, breakfast and lunch options all made gluten free. If you’re in the area, or not, this place has to be on the go-to list.
