Went here and ordered off the gluten free menu. My sandwich came out on a regular bun (I asked if it was gluten free because it looked like my husband’s regular bun). The person said no, said the sandwich would be remade and brought back out. Not even 90 seconds later I had the same sandwich in front of my just on a gluten free bun.
I explained to the server that the sandwich had to be totally remade because I have celiac disease and the cross contact will harm me. The manager came over and profusely apologized and comped my sandwich and had it remade and checked herself for cross contact. I did eat the new one (by the time I got it my husband had been done with his food for 10 minutes) but my stomach did start to hurt soon after, so I’m positive there was some cross contact still happening.
I’ll give them a second chance at a later date (first time there) but please be careful eating here!
We were given a gluten free menu upon request which had several options and they do not charge extra for the GF bun like several other places. The gluten free bun was delicious and does not crumble or fall apart like other GF buns I have had before. They also offer gluten free beer. I had the impossible burger and it was amazing!
They have plenty of options for gluten free burgers, salads, etc. Informed by waitress that the fryer has 2 separate compartments, one of which is gluten free. They technically share oil, but there is a filter between the compartments. She recommended the most sensitive people not use it, but my celiac wife had no reaction to the fries. They do have a gluten free bun, and staff seemed to know how to handle allergy items.
