We had brunch at Brunch Cafe when we were visiting the Chicagoland area from out of town. I had previously been to the Roselle Brunch Cafe but this was my first time at the Addison location (the restaurant looks brand new and given that it wasn't listed here until now, I think it must have opened pretty recently).
Absolutely delicious gluten free breakfast and the portions are huge!
I had the Bavocado, which is a skillet with potatoes on the bottom, choice of eggs, and bacon/avocado/cheese; they subbed out the fried potatoes that come with with skillet and gave me hash browns instead. It also came with my choice of toast or pancakes; I chose the pancakes and they were delicious. I confirmed that the hash browns, eggs, and GF pancakes are all cooked on a separate, gluten free surface.
I highly recommend doing call ahead seating because this place is packed, at least on the weekends. I joined the waitlist over the phone at 12:20 pm on a Sunday and we got our table at about 12:50 pm...so not a terrible wait but there were so many people waiting that there was no place to sit as we waited.
I can't wait to go back!
Called last minute for a party of 14 on Memorial Day, they were able to accommodate us quickly and then even added extra space for an additional FOUR guests who unexpectedly showed up. I ordered an omelette with hashbrowns and pancakes. Gf options labeled directly on the menu which was wonderful. Did not get sick, great experience.
