My daughter works at a Brusters and she says it's cross contaminated like crazy. Say a customer asks for a particular flavor on a cone and then changes their mind, the ice cream will be removed from the cone and placed back in the container. Ask for ice cream from storage that hasn't been used yet.
No
Best ice cream ever. I have ate the chocolate and cherry vanilla with no problem.

Spoke to a manager and she said they can’t guarantee any flavor to be gluten free as there is cross contamination in the factory where the ice cream is made.

Specifically explained our new celiac diagnosis means that she can’t have cookies/“dirt”, and asked for the scoop to be washed first, and for them to use the chocolate ice cream in the back that hasn’t been opened yet if possible. Daughter asked for chocolate ice cream with m&ms and gummy worms. The ice cream came out and the worms were covered in cookie crumbs.

Servers could not say that anything was gluten free except the shaved ice.

No gluten free options. Website states, “We do not consider our ice cream gluten free. The vanilla and chocolate base that we use does not contain any gluten, but we make our ice cream flavor over flavor, which means there may be microscopic traces of gluten from other “add-ins” left in the machines even though they are rinsed between flavors.”
