Very considerate and accomodating. Chef came to table to answer all my questions and he even went back to double check ingredients. Chef made me a seasoned, vegan vegetable medley. I can appreciate an attitude of staff that says, "let me go find out" and "I can just cut something up for you and make it!" Limited but gluten free menu.
Gf items were marked with a G, not very many to choose from. I had the grilled salmon with jasmine rice and sautéed spinach which was excellent. I didn’t have the sauce with the fish as it wasn’t gf. Server knew what I could and couldn’t have. Great service and nice view of the water.
This place was disgusting food!! The waiter barely spoke English and so I had to ask for the manager. The manager told us he would come back to take our order because I am so allergic but he never showed his face again. The chefs and waiters think that butter and lemon have gluten in it. Both my fish and my daughters were plain and tasted like crap to be frank. We did not get cross contaminated but for the price of the food, I expect more than microwaved fish placed over a bed of rice with a couple of rubbery shrimp. I would not recommend this place at all unless your desperate.
Had the fish with shrimp (marked GF on menu) and got sick. Have eaten successfully at this chain in the past. They only have a few GF options but they are good. GF shrimp cocktail, 2 salads and 3 entrees - fish with shrimp, salmon and shrimp/veggie skewers. Would love to see this chain develop more GF choices.
When I ordered my food, I told the waiter I have celiac disease and he had a confused look on his face. And I explained how I cannot come into contact with gluten and if he could make sure they take extra measures to make it gluten free. He agreed and went back to the kitchen, but came back a minute later with a small pad of paper and asked if I could write down the name of what I have because he wasn't sure if he spelled it right and wanted to make sure the chefs knew what he meant. When the food came out the manager brought me my food separate and said "here is your gluten free meal" even though they don't have a gluten free kitchen, I didn't get sick after and I am very glad they put in the extra effort!
GREAT service! I told my waitress I had allergies and she immediately got a manager. I told the manager what I was thinking about ordering, she spoke with the kitchen and made sure it was possible, and made sure there would be no cross contamination! Love it here. It is a long wait though.

They bent over backwards for my son who has celiac disease. The menu is marked with gluten free items. Then the manager came over and said that many other items could be made gluten free with just a free tweaks. The waiter was also very knowledgeable. He told us that the food takes a little longer to prepare because they take the time to fully clean the grill, utensils, etc before they cook the gluten free food. Very impressed!!
They do have a dedicated GF menu, but choice is very limited. Saying that at least I could have shrimp for my starter which was amazing. No shrimp for main course though as all cooked in oil with gluten products, which was a real shame. I had salmon with rice for main course which was ok, but a little bland if I was honest. The restaurant looks great but for GF food, not so great. I wouldn't rush back.
No problems eating here. I was so excited to be able to eat at Forest's restaurant. I had a lovely salad but they forgot my shrimp (which could be substituted for chicken). The gluten free menu was reasonable and they were really good reducing cross contamination and checking all ingredients of the dressing.
My waitress was patient and showed me about 7 options. The manager came out and handed me my plate first, and the rest of the food came out a few minutes after. We went a little later (about 10:30 pm) and there was still no concern about cross contamination. I recommend the accidental fish and shrimp, it's really good!
There is a Gluten-free menu (great for my son!). My mom is also allergic to gluten, dairy, garlic and a few other things. Our server wrote down what my mom couldn't have and went to check with the cook. Then the manager came and took her order. He offered to cook her shrimp or chicken with olive oil in the oven to be free of cross contamination.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND for celiac disease and gluten sensitivity. PLEASE take the chance to eat at this place if you have gluten-free needs. The dedicated gluten-free menu looks small, BUT the moment you mention to your server that you have a gluten allergy or gluten sensitivity they will bring a manager out and there are tons of items on the menus that can be made gluten free with just small tweaks (the manager will help you find these). This restaurant is EXTREMELY celiac friendly - manager explained how they relay to the chef your allergy, the chef oversees your meal personally, they change all utensils and gloves and prepare away from other food, and they even bring your meal out to you separately to avoid cross contamination. Our server knew nearly as much about it as the manager and they both impressed me with their understanding of the gluten issues. Would HIGHLY recommend for gluten accommodations as well as general service (friendliest service I've had at a restaurant, EVER) and the food (I got the accidental shrimp & fish) was delicious.
So Bubba Gump didn't do so good this time. Ordered the Shrimp and Veggie Skewers, which is on their gf menu and specifically had a conversation about needing gluten-free. The food was very good, but the after effect wasn't. Been sick since a little after eating there and expect a couple more days of it. Not sure where it went wrong, but I am paying the price for it now. If you try there hope you have better luck than me.
Had a chance to check their gluten free out. Had the Mahi Mahi dish. Very sensitive .. no reaction. Food tasted good.
