Awesome manager and staff. Very knowledgable about allergies! Almost everything there I can eat!
The staff told me they had a dedicated fryer and which items were gluten free when they weren’t! While eating I began not feeling well and asked the staff again if it was made in a dedicated fryer and that the food i order were gf and said they weren’t! Definitely won’t be coming back again.
Based on the last review about the dedicated fryer, we were excited! But, the allergen list on line indicates there are not dedicated fryers. When I called, I asked if the traditional wings had a dedicated fryer and I was told yes. When I pushed, the dedicated fryer is also used for boneless wings, which are breaded and not gluten free based on their alleged list. So it’s not dedicated. No wings for us (we didn’t go so I can’t speak to any other food options).
Desert heat dry rub traditional wings are the best anywhere. The staff is excellent, and Tuesdays are half price traditional wings.
The staff knew about celiac and the gluten free fryer right away. The food was delicious!
So I am giving it four stars because you really only have one option if you are celiac (no designated fryer for bone-in wings or fries). the naked tenders. But you can get any sauce minus two. That being said, the chicken was cooked to perfection and my waiter was AMAZING. He brought my meal out separate as well as all of the dipping sauces I asked for. I normally would not suggest a place with so few of options but I felt so taken care of. If you are gluten intolerant you have tons of options.
Do have an allergen menu I'm not sure what went wrong, I asked our server to let the kitchen know I was GF but I still left sick. I ordered plain grilled chicken strips but they tasted like they had lemon pepper seasoning on them so perhaps they were cooked on a shared surface.
Staff was knowledgeable and able to accommodate GF items. I ordered the bone-in wings with carrots/celery. Plenty of flavors to pick from. I did not have any issues. Be sure to speak with your server and ask questions to ensure their practices haven’t changed. They explained they label your food and make an announcement in the kitchen when an allergy order occurs.
Only item I felt safe with was Naked Tenders. It was literally a grilled chicken breast cut into 4 pieces. Not seasoned at all but many sauces to choose from that are GF. Brought my own chips. Staff was GREAT tho, brought mine out separate. Meal was very average but safe.
As soon as I told the waitress I have celiac disease she brought the manager to the table. They had a booklet that identified the allergens in the items on their menu. If you order the traditional wings, it is fried in a dedicated fryer. Stevie, the manager, made sure my order was handled properly and my order came out with a purple sticker to signify GF. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and I had no bad reactions. AAAA++++++. Thank you Buffalo Wild Wings!!
I had to sift through the allergen list. There were very few options and all the salads had gluten and they couldn't give me an answer on a modification to made a salad gluten free. I chose something that was indicated as wheat free and gluten free...it was not. Learned after the fact they do not have a designated fryer.
This place is just awesome. It has been my go to restaurant when I want to eat out and I know I won't get sick. They can make a lot of things GF but my favorite items are the nachos and traditional wings. There are only a few sauces that are not GF but most of them are safe. They have a dedicated fryer and the staff is very knowledgeable. They mark every GF item when it comes out of the kitchen with a purple sticker, so look for the sticker to confirm your meal is GF.
The wings are good and many of the sauces are gluten free. But the fryers are shared and the ‘spinners’ that they use for saucing the wings are shared. You have to ask for your wings to be dry and the sauce on the side. There is still some risk from the shared fryer but I haven’t had a symptom.
I eat here all the time! My number 1 go to restaurant. They have a separate gluten free fryer and amazing policies with allergies. They have no flour on premises. I have never ever had any issues here they are absolutely amazing! I can’t give it enough praise!
I ordered naked tenders and buffalo chips(potatoes I was told) and mentioned I was Celiac and if that was gf. The bartender said yes and put in the order. About a half hour later my food finally comes out and As it turns out the “potatoes” were deep fried which l didn’t realize until after I ate the first one. And NO this was not a designated fryer. Also the chosen cake out on he same plate mixed in with some fries like in a basket style. So the fries(which I didn’t order and were clearly also contaminated) had allot of contact with the 2 of my 4 tenders so I ate the other two(which were boarder line undercooked) and went to google. Turns out even the grilled naked chicken tenders came from a shared grill. The staff should know when someone says CELIAC what is acceptable and what is not. Needless to say I did not finish my meal I remained at the bar to watch the rest of the game with 80% of my food on the plate in front of me for about another hour to finish the game and not one server asked how my meal was when it was obvious that I did not have a positive experience. And needless to say after the clock hit zero I hustled Home to brace for impact as the upset stomach and other symptoms had already begun. Being from buffalo New York growing up on real wings with skin and bones in a clean fryer... this place disappoints me on a big level. Find a local sports bar especially if want something to drink besides angry orchard!
Not only did they note for me my gluten allergy for the cook, but they waited on my husband to get there to cook my naked wings. (We called in our order) They wanted to double check if it was ok to fry them in the shared fryer. (Side note, it’s not ok as cross contamination really messes me up) So they grilled them on a cleaned stove and put my sauce on the side. Also, they have a dedicated fryer for there French fries !! 👍🏻
Asked Callie a ton of questions when family ordered carry out. She was fantastic about getting answers to my questions. Found that I could have naked chicken tenders with (or without) seasoning and their veggie (cole) slaw without reaction. I found the seasoning to be a bit saltier than my taste but otherwise fine. I tried the sweet BBQ and garlic Parmesan sauces. All but 3?? sauces are gf according to their website. I initially found menu online with wheat/gluten and other allergen columns noted with all their foods listed before entering restaurant. In asking questions, I learned that frier is shared (not dedicated), therefore fries come in contact with wheat breaded items and not gluten free once fried. Happy to have another gf food option in this town!
