Ask for the chef to come out. They will take care of you and take extra precautions. They made pizza on a cauliflower crust for my son. Also for kid’s options they could do grilled chicken and salmon.

Fellow celiac friends let’s help each other stay safe and healthy. If there is not a dedicated fryer, and your nacho chips and Brussel Sprouts are getting crossed contained with the chicken Parmesan and kids meal chicken fingers ** THIS IS NOT CELIAC SAFE ** I went here based on previous reviews of wonderful nachos and Brussel Sprouts, and knowledgeable staff.

The server admitted he was new and did know much about gluten free and said the resturant takes food allergies very seriously and he brought over the manager.

The manager said she understood that this is serious and had an aunt with celiac disease ... but she did not understand that there is problem with the same fryer making the tortilla chips and chicken parm and chicken fingers. I came for nachos but did not order them after asking this important question.

I ordered the gluten free bison chili - but she didn’t bring Fritos - and I had to show her the bag and that it’s labeled gluten free - that corn chips are ok - it’s cross contaminating them that is not . I told her that my heart is to provide education since I’ve had to live this way for 15 years, and I understand people are still learning. The manager at the Buffalo at the Ritz needs more education, and I would not call this Resturant celiac safe based on my visit.

I depend on reviews when I travel to find places that are safe to eat, rated by my fellow celiacs on this app - and this is my 2nd time in 2 weeks to goto a Resturant with reviews as celiac safe from this app - and the items labeled GF on the menu are actually cross contaminated. Last week the general manager of a Resturant I got sick at and called back to discuss it - said one of the items on the menu labeled GF is not (that thankfully I had not ordered or eaten).

Our standards on this app for what we are calling celiac safe should be the same. Please remember that gluten is the measured in parts per million, the same as poison ... and we don’t need any gluten making our bodies work to fight off the autoimmune responses.

I appreciate you all taking the time to share your experiences. Let’s work together to keep fellow celiacs eating out safely.

Filet - ordered medium, cooked to perfection. Great cut of meat. Nachos - with chicken added, very very good, not your average nacho, tons of flavor, Brussel sprouts - "best I've ever had"

We may just eat the rest of our meals here during our stay at the Ritz.

This is the casual restaurant at the Ritz in Bachelor’s Gulch, CO. It is very tasty and the food was great. Their menu had undergone some changes, so a couple things were mis marked as GF when they weren’t...which is why I always ask when it doesn’t sound right (Schnitzel is never GF). But when I asked, all was fine. The trout dish and the Gf pizza were delicious. They take care in prep.
