We have eaten here no less than 10 times and each time it’s gotten more and more dangerous for gluten allergies/ celiac. Last week, was served a dessert that was ordered as cheesecake. Arrived as Key Lime Pie and was piping hot. It had not been chilled and was gluten. The manager assured me it was not key lime but my husband said key lime so- who knows. This week, our server did not use the hand held device and chose to remember our 4 top order. I know the gf food comes on a square plate so when my food came was on a round plate and was a regular gluten bun I was in shock. Her attitude was abundantly clear she didn’t care so I spoke to the manager who was responsive and generous. However, bc I have been so many times I knew their protocol. If I had not, I would have been very sick. The food is good, but their servers education could use a touch up. Perhaps they management should deliver all gluten free meals. Be careful and don’t trust until you verify. Also the brunch donut holes are amazing!!

I have celiac and ate dinner at Burtons Grill tonight — had the GF bread service, GF chicken risotto and Gf chocolate cake….
Something was contaminated is all I can assume with a reaction less than an hour later. 😭😭

Wonderful restaurant where they take food allergies & cross contamination very seriously! Not only do they have a dedicated gluten free kitchen separate from their regular kitchen, but their food is delicious & I couldn’t even tell it was gluten free! Amazing crab cakes, yummy focaccia & some of THE BEST mac & cheese I’ve ever had, gluten free or not! I can’t wait to try their brunch!
I've been here 3 times since they've opened. Everything I've tried has been so delicious. They ask about any allergies as soon as you walk in and are very knowledgeable about Celiac. The drinks are also amazing.
Separate GF menu and server was very aware! Made sure to note it all and tell all staff. GF focaccia was amazing - definitely coming back!!
This was my first experience here and will definitely be a regular! I saw someone else say that they had a few missteps in their order and it seems to me like they are trying very hard rectify that! We had an allergy specialist come out to serve our food and then the GM, Brendan, came to our table to shake our hand and serve our dessert.
We had a very good conversation about their precautions- they serve all their gluten free meals on square plates, have dedicated fryers, and are currently working on getting their table runners actually certified to serve allergy-safe dishes. He also said there is absolutely no flour in the building. Super clear to me that they care about the community and he even comped our dessert as a nice surprise. My advice is to get the chocolate cake. It was delicious!

Update 12/22/24: Confirmed with the GM that all of the fryers are GF and are not shared with any gluten products. There are no gluten products that need to be fried. There are a few recent reviews that state that the fryers are shared, but that was apparently incorrect info provided by a server.
They make a point to give a great experience to people with food allergies. Very large GF menu. Fried food is ok. Multiple GF dessert options. GF buns that tasted decent. Very good service.
They had a few missteps (one entree missed, one drink double-charged, a dessert offered that wasn’t GF) but par for the course for having been open less than a week.
We had the classic burger, California chicken sandwich, crab cakes, caramel cheesecake, and gingerbread ice cream sandwich.
The one ding is for very stingy pours for very expensive martinis. Will consider other beverage options next time.

They say that they care a lot about allergies. I have been there 4 times since they have opened and twice I’ve had an issue. Once they brought me a burger with a gluten bun. That one was easy to spot and was fixed relatively quickly. The manager was incredibly kind and helpful. And today they gave me pasta that has one gluten pasta noodle in it. I get that they are new but every time I have went I have stressed MULTIPLE times that I have celiac disease. Today I also asked where my garlic bread was because the menu said my meal came with bread and the MANAGER said “oh we are out of gluten free bread. Do you want regular bread instead?” And I said “no like I have said multiple times I have celiac disease” and she responded “I was just testing you”. That is an unhinged and insane thing to say to a customer at a restaurant where you stress how seriously you take allergies. If you come here and need to speak to a manger DO NOT speak to Tara.

Chose this based on gf options for a family birthday dinner. My celiac kiddo has never had so many choices! Honestly the gf menu is as extensive as the regular one. Separate fryer for fries and appetizers, gf pasta cooked in separate water. We had gf cheesesteak spring rolls for appetizers that came with skinny gf onion rings. All dinners were tasty, gf pasta bolognese was rich and meaty like it should be. Didn’t have room for gf chocolate cake but it looked amazing. This was a real treat! Only sorta boring dish was a chicken-vegetable grain bowl.

By far the BEST experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant being celiac in a long long long time. The options were amazing, the service was superb, the manager brought everything out after you identify the allergens and they even have different plate shapes to differentiate gluten free items. The hostess asked immediately who needed a gluten free menu before we even sat and the waitress Shelby was so knowledgeable and checked in on us. Will be back!

Very expansive gluten free menu. They were very careful and had a manager deliver the gluten free food to the table!
Don’t order anything fried because of shared fryer.

They have a large gf menu that is very similar to the regular menu - tons of options! My daughter was super happy, she had chicken Alfredo and it was very good. We will definitely be back!

Lots of gf options but WARNING - the server told me the fryers are shared. I'm glad I asked. I got excited when I saw the fried fish sandwich, but it was not to be. No safe fries, either. So the gf menu is safe for celiacs as long as you avoid fried items. Gf food is always on square plates and delivered by a manager, I think they said. I had General Tso's bowl. The gf bread service was delicious. More gf desserts than most places, too, but I was too full to try one.

We've eaten at Burtons Grill locations in New England, and I could not contain my excitement when I heard one was opening here. The GF menu is huge and has a wide variety of options. If they can't make something gluten free, they offer an alternative but similar dish, unlike other restaurants that make a dish gluten free by simply removing half the ingredients. The food was very good, and my father-in-law (who had the crab stuffed haddock) said it was the best restaurant meal he had in a long time. My husband is very picky about his bolognese and enjoyed it at Burtons. I loved my salmon dish with romesco sauce. Nothing was boring or bland and it was beautifully plated. Drinks were also delicious, and prices were in keeping with the area and type of restaurant. I am also dairy-free and while that limited my options somewhat, I still had plenty to choose from. The waitress was pretty new but was careful to double-check what she wasn't sure about. The manager brings out the food marked for those with allergies to be sure there are no issues, so I felt safe. And I saved the best part for last: you can order a gluten free bread basket!! Overall it was a wonderful experience, and we will be regular patrons there.

Recently ate here with my two daughters. All three of us have celiac disease. Burtons Grill is amazing at keeping you safe from gluten during your dining experience. We have eaten at their Massachusetts location and I was so excited to see that they were in Atlanta! The owner has celiacs disease and has made the majority of the menu items gluten free. Each dish that is gluten free is served on a square plate to let you know your food has been prepared with care! From the delicious appetizers (spring rolls! Calamari!) to the entrees( lobster roll! braised short ribs!$ to the delicious desserts(seven layer chocolate cake!) Everything is amazing! And a special shoutout to our wonderful server, Tyler! He made our experience so enjoyable! You have to eat here! What a relief to be able to eat without worry! We will be back!

Lots of gluten free options
Fantastic meal!! I wish I had found this restaurant sooner, I would have visited more than once! Separate gluten free menu. Separate fryer. We had the firecracker shrimp to start, the breading was amazing!! For dinner I had the General Tso Bowl, I swapped the chicken for grilled salmon, delish!! And for dessert, the seven layer chocolate cake. So, so good!! I should have taken pics!! A must visit if you’re in Boca or nearby!
