This is my go-to date night spot with my partner in Nashville. We have eaten here numerous times with no reaction. Gluten free foods are marked on the menu and a good amount of the gluten-containing items can be modified to be GF. We always order the whipped feta with raw veggies as our appetizer and it’s SO good!

Had the best meal in a long time (if not ever!) at butcher & bee. Everything on the menu can be GF besides the ravioli & pita. We did the tasting menu and they were able to accommodate my GF diet and a friend’s vegetarian diet easily. Every dish was better than the next! Dips come with veggies for GF so I would recommend bringing your own GF pita if you’re able. Both desserts were GF and absolutely delish- a vegan coconut mousse and a hazelnut chocolate crème Brûlée (choco covered matzah is not GF but served on the side). I felt so safe there with Celiac because they made sure our food wasn’t cross contaminated. Even the runners who brought the food mentioned that each dish was celiac-safe and cross contamination-free which made me feel so safe!! I would absolutely recommend coming here and hope to come back to Nashville for that meal soon!

Dont eat anything off the grill pitas cooked on the grill. High risk of cross contamination. Saw them use same tongs as well.
Loved this restaurant. The waitress was very knowledgeable about celiac. She said that the steak could be cooked in a pan to avoid cross contamination with the surface used for the pitas. I had the steak and tried a few other items. All were good and I felt fine after eating here.

Absolutely delicious. Love that the menu clearly marks what is and isn’t gf. I’ve been there twice for brunch and both times our waitress made sure my meal was prepared sans gluten. Will definitely go back!

I am celiac & dairy free & my server told me they would not make a dish without the dairy (butter) because the chef doesn’t do it that way. They were very picky about substitutions & I was not impressed.

I wanted to like this place so bad because the menu was so unique. But sadly even with calling ahead talking to the server and being assured there wasn't cross contamination got super sick. They literally cook the bread and meat on the same grill and didn't think that was an issue. I even asked if the food is cooked on the same surface and they said no and made me feel safe eating here. So sick of people being dismissive of allergies and assuming things are gluten free with out actually knowing anything. If you can't accommodate for an allergy the staff should be aware of that and not make it seem like you can eat here.

As of Jan 2020 their fryer is now celiac safe. The wait staff was very in the know. Israeli fried chicken was crazy good.
staff extremely helpful and wonderful to work with celiac needs. food is great!

We did the chef’s menu with a party of 4 (I was the only celiac in the group) and I was so surprised by how well they accommodated me. I got to try a ton of different dishes that were totally safe. Servers announced what was/wasn’t gluten free when they put it down so I felt confident. Only 2 of ~12 dishes weren’t safe for me. Loved this place and didn’t get sick!
Yes
They don't have a dedicated fryer so a lot of the things that are listed GF on the menu are not actually safe BUT server was really great about it and food was delicious even though there were very few options. Did not get sick.
Yes
I have been here twice, once for brunch and most recently for dinner. I am sensitive to cross-contamination and haven’t gotten sick either time. The menu is somewhat limited in terms of entrees if you can’t eat from a shared fryer. However, the servers I had were very knowledgeable and took gf seriously. For dinner, I ordered the whipped feta as an appetizer, which they served with sliced cucumbers. I had the sliced turnips for my meal, which seemed to be the only option that wasn’t fried and cross-contaminated. But, both were delicious.
Yes
Gluten free items are listed on the menu and they are very willing to accommodate dietary restrictions. They checked back with me several times when ordering to ensure that it was safe. I believe they have a shared fryer so keep that in mind if you’re sensitive to cross contamination when ordering.
Very knowledgeable.. explained my options. delicious food.
The waitress was super helpful. Most items had gluten free options available. She said the menu changes often, so check before you come.
