Had an awful allergic reaction after speaking with them multiple times and reconfirming. Not convinced their corn tortillas are *all* corn, possibly some wheat in them. Not trustworthy!
They say that most of their menu is GF, but it’s not to be trusted!
Good food and great value. Mostly gf. Fried food all use sane oil so that is not safe but everything else is fine. We had the smoothies, Carne asada which comes with rice, beans (like refried) salad (a bit spicy), and meat us cooked with mushrooms and onions. Oh and the tortillas are made of corn. Owner we very nice and accommodating.
The owner greeted us and took our order. He said most of the menu is gluten free with the exception of the burritos which they use flour tortillas. I tried the carne asada which came with papuas and it was delicious! I have Celiac and have a very terrible reaction every time I’m exposed to gluten and I had NO trouble here. I would recommend, but also make sure when placing your order they know you can’t have gluten. Very good, can’t wait to go back and try different items. Authentic El Salvadoran food. *edited to add they do use a fryer that cooks kid’s chicken nuggets, so be sure to ask before ordering anything possibly fried. I’ll ask next time I go in
