We had a wonderful experience with authentic Turkish cuisine. I was given the gluten free menu when requested and offered hot gf bread. I ordered the 'Fish Testi' (mix of seafood and fish) which came in the claypot and a dramatic firey cooking show. We were given complementary tea to finish the meal. Excellent service, highly recommended. Keep in mind, they do add a 10% service tax.
We were looking for a gluten free restaurant in Istanbul and we found this place, Amedros .
We loved it from the moment we arrived . The service was wonderful and the food was of excellent quality . We were given specific Gluten Free menues. There were a lot of option including Gluten Free bread. They even had gluten free desert that was also dairy free as we had several allergies to cater for. The staff were very knowledgeable of the ingredients and dishes they had. The ambience was warm and welcoming . Lovely choice of music in the background.
Very impressed and highly recommend .
Hello team, I can only leave positive reviews for this restaurant. I would say the best restaurant in Istanbul and the cleanest. They have a gluten-free offer, gluten-free beer. The staff knows everything about the gluten problem. The workers are more than kind, sympathetic, helpful, cheerful, smiling, reasonable. I hope to visit this restaurant again. We ate here for days. The food is excellent, the desserts very tasty. I am leaving a few pictures.
Oh my gosh, this place was amazing. The staff was knowledgeable, it was clean and a great vibe, and there was an entire gluten free menu with traditional Turkish and ottoman food. I went with the testi kebab recommendation, falafel as an appetizer, and fig dessert. It was all fantastic and the testi kebab came with a “show” as it’s cooked in a flaming clay pot.
The restaurant is near from Sultanahmed area. Personal is so friendly and give us immediately a gluten free menù. The menù is so extensive. There are Starters, meat options, fish options, salads and dessert. The waiter give us a gluten free bread. I eat very good. Average prices.
Ho mangiato davvero molto bene! I prezzi sono nella media.
as soon as we walked up to the door, they asked if we wanted gluten free - yes please!
gf bread was brought out - nice and hot; chicken curry was quite good, but wasn’t sure why french fries (dedicated fryer) were part of it. all very good!
staff knowledgeable and understanding- would definitely go again!
When I said I was coeliac staff immediately understood and brought me a gluten free menu, and explained they also had gluten free bread and beer.
Food was delicious and there were lots of gf options. Restaurant was very nice and staff were fun and knowledgeable.
Would definitely go back!
We arrived very early when the kitchen just opened and ordered mezze for starter and two types of mains. The service was good, the food amazing, and I felt very safe eating here. The location of the restaurant is in a cute little street. Probably the best place in the old town to eat out for anyone who has celiac desease.
Ottoman chicken was fire. Mezze platter was fire. Waiter said the gluten free menu was a little outdated so if you see something on the regular menu that you want be sure to ask! They are very knowledgeable. Prices are the same for gluten free food. They also had gf bread, it was alright but I appreciated having it. Staff was super nice! (Shoutout Medeni)
