Attentive staff and tasty food, but a little overpriced. Didn't feel sick eating here.
Yay! Cute, great ambiance, delicious food. They specialize in safely and comfortably serving people with food allergies. Most of the menu was GF, but the waitress still double checked each dish with the kitchen. In the double checking, they did catch a few glitches: the fried garbanzo bean fritters (usually considered celiac safe) were not because they had used the fryer for the staff meal earlier that day, and had cross contaminated it. But they figured it out and told me graciously. Hope to go back often.
Our second visit to Cafe Clover was as memorable as the first. Creative cooking, attentive service, delightful cocktails, and a solid wine list made for excellent meals. At both visits, our server was able to immediately point out dishes that were already gluten-free, could be modified, and needed to be avoided. We felt confident that appropriate care was being taken in the kitchen to avoid cross contamination. The restaurant appears to be able to welcome those with other food allergies.
