Café Corazón

I love Cafe Corazon in Bayview. Lots of options and knowledgeable staff. The food is great and the service is friendly.

I'm a sensitive celiac and have never had a reaction here. Would love it if they had a dedicated fryer and chips, but it's still worth a visit.

Lots of safe options, knowledgeable about Celiac Disease and cross contamination, corn tortillas for tacos are safely toasted in an area not near flour, but most of all tasty as I remember them. (Yes, I’d give them a 5 if the frier was dedicated and if I could have the chips and salsa and tostadas…but I can’t and that makes gf dining still painful.)

I used to go all the way to Riverwest for Corazon and now I can stay in my neighborhood! I go here literally once per week since they opened and I have never had an adverse reaction. I almost always get tofu tacos or the salmon tostadas. Both great.
