What a great place very good food . The menu is labeled with gluten-free vegan and vegetarian options. The only thing I did not like was the sweet potato fries. They were a little burned as you can see in the picture. Also, they charge extra for a piece of cheese, extra for the gluten bun and extra for the gluten wrap.

Great food! Our server was also Celiac, and was able to assure me of their extensive GF menu. I had the Bison Burger (no bun, there is a GF bun option for +$3), and the Mac & Cheese.

We enjoyed our first meal here this afternoon! We had a party of 9, including 2 with Celiac (myself and my daughter). What a truly wonderful experience!

The food was AMAZING!! And the choices… it is so rare to have almost an entire menu that is fully GF. The atmosphere is quaint and natural, the perfect place following our morning at the beach. The service was also superb.

We will be back without a doubt!

Was here two times and will definitely be back. Many gf options, vegetarian and vegan. We all had something different and all was delicious. Although not a dedicated restaurant, they are knowledgeable and I had a great experience each time.

So many gluten free choices. I had the Turkey wrap on a gluten free bun. It was delicious. I also had a tiny strawberry dessert. It was very tasty. My husband had shrimp tacos. He said they were good.

OMG the best place ever, so many gluten free options desserts mains appetizers and everything in between! I got the gnocchi and substituted the shrimp for chicken since I’m not big on seafood and it was no problem at all. We also had a tuxedo chocolate cake gluten-free and all it was all entirely too good for words. Not bad on price either think like steakhouse price but the portions were perfect and the food was worth it.

Just about everything on the menu is gluten free. Sandwiches come on a gluten free bun for a $3 upcharge. Good for vegans as well. Quite good. Fast service.

The restaurant is lovely, clean, with indoor and outdoor seating with lovely plants. The food (chicken potpie and salad w/herb dressing, pesto chicken wrap, detox drink, and flourless chocolate cake) were all gluten free and unbelievably delicious and our server and the owner/chef were so friendly and welcoming! Highly recommend!

Service was good, slaw was very vinegary! Don’t give you a lot of food for the price .. sides were small .. be careful if you order a non alcoholic spritzer .. It was $ 9.00 each !

It was great to go somewhere with multiple GF options. The I did not have any issues with cross contamination and the quality of the food was very good. I had the salmon sandwich & roasted cauliflower. Both were very tasty. I ordered an almond milk latte to go. It was not hot, but it had the Best Taste. It would have been perfect if it was hot

We used to eat at this café regularly as they are very accommodating to anyone with allergies. However, we have been disappointed on our latest 3 visits, with incorrect orders, stale burger buns & undercooked/overcooked food. Also on each of these 3 visits we had terrible “sticker shock” with seemingly minor add-ons making the final bill huge. I am not sure we will be returning here soon.

Everything about this place was great. Very clean, super nice staff, and delicious food. We had complementary edamame while we looked over the menu, I ate a Ruben on GF bun, vegan Mac and cheese, and even got to have a pumpkin pie shooter for dessert. Will return to the place again and again.

The staff was very kind and knowledgeable on my multiple allergies. The gluten free and vegan options are clearly marked on the menu. The chef even came out and offered me a special sauce that he had made. Will definitely be back and recommend to others.

Cafe Evergreen was AMAZING! There are tons of GF choices and it's very safe for a celiac. I opted for the Santa Fe Salad with blackened shrimp! Fabulous! I also got The Tree Hugger smoothie. Excellent food and service! The baked sweet potato fries... They were out of this world!!! The BEST I've ever had. Highly recommend!

Everything about Evergreen is perfect. The atmosphere, gf menu, and knowledgeable wait staff is the best I’ve encountered in the area. My only disappointment is that I just discovered it. It’s a must for anyone who is vegan or Celiac/gluten intolerant.

I am a very sensitive celiac and rarely eat out. What a pleasure it was to find this gem! The staff was very knowledgeable about cross contamination and taking the necessary precautions to keep me safe. There were numerous options to choose from. I had the kelp stir fry with shrimp and it was amazing. I had no issues whatsoever and will definitely eat here again!

We’ve ate there many times (lunch and dinner) as we live in the area. Gluten free Mac and cheese, steak with gnocchi, cauliflower, tuna, salmon sandwich, and sweet potato fries all tasty!

If you are looking for a healthy variety of gluten free options than this is the place for you! Almost everything is gluten free! GF chicken pot pie, cheesy quinoa cakes, burgers, desserts etc. They also have a huge speciality smoothie/juice menu.

Our meals (sirloin with potato gnocchi and the grilled eggplant stack) were fresh, DELICIOUS and very filling. Server wasn't too familiar with the GF world, but we just asked her to make sure the chef/kitchen was aware that we had to be GF because of celiac. Amazing meal and terrific service. I forgot to mention the dessert! I got a shot glass of an incredible key lime 'pie'. Unreal!! UPDATE: Went back a second time and that server was more familiar with the menu and gave us multiple suggestions and insight. Non-GF family was thrilled with their meals as . FANTASTIC!!!!!

Every time we're even close to the Cafe Evergreen, we make it a point to stop for lunch. We're never been disappointed & I have Celiac. Ingredients are always fresh. The brewed Kombucha was delicious.

Delicious GF and DF food at a reasonable price! The server was extremely knowledgeable about ingredients and menu. They had GF wraps and Udi's GF buns available. Sweet potato fries were homemade, GF and delicious! I ordered a reuben with DF island dressing, on a GF bun. The corned beef was delicious and I was completely satisfied. :) Will definitely return if we are ever in Nokomis again.

I first began eating here about a month after it moved up from Northport where it was already known and revered. The menu is varied, always organic and there are generally several gluten free items, including GF wraps, which are unusually good. As well, there are often daily specials and they are concocted with great imagination.

Presentation is especially good and the staff is knowledgeable, quick, courteous and delightful. Your hosts, Ted and Annette Weingarten are often available for a quick chat or - often - checking to be sure everything is right.

The location is interesting, too, should you want to look around the neighbourhod. Directly behind the restaurant is Rum Runners Antiques, voted Best In Nakomis for the second straight year. Wonderful items! And next door to that is the charming art gallery, The Cottage, displaying a wide variety of unique art, jewelry, pottery, photography and other art forms, very reasonably priced and of very high quality. Additonally, during "season", the third saturday of each month provides a delightful "Market On the Green" with a surfeit of both arts and crafts.
