The only thing I felt comfortable getting was a salad and I specifically said that I had celiac and it still came with some kind of tortilla/pita crisp on top of it :( for the price it didn’t feel worth it

My server was knowledgeable and checked to be sure food and drinks were gluten free. The food was fantastic and did not upset my stomach. Looking forward to going here again.

Not gluten-free enough for a Celiac. I went here 2 days ago for lunch with a group. The server said all the right things in answer to my questions but my food was definitely cross-contaminated.

Love Cafe Karibo! They always take such good care of me! I am gluten intolerant and have never had a problem. My family and I eat here at least once a month! My go to is the burger on GF bread or whatever the special is that night if it's GF!

Ordered the mahi mahi off the GF menu and it came with the crab cake. This had me worried because I had read previous reviews saying that the meal didn't come with the crab cake because it wasn't GF. I asked three people about it before eating and they all assured me it was GF and that the cook had changed what he used and that it was definitely GF. So I unfortunately ate it. Then at the end of the night our waitress asked us if we wanted dessert and told me they had gf carrot cake (not that I had asked or showed any interest in it). I didn't know when I would have an opportunity to have gf carrot cake again so I got it to go and and unfortunately ate it later on. I woke up the next morning completely sick - ended up having to go to the ER even. After calling the restaurant back the day I was sick they in fact told us the crab cake and carrot cake were both NOT GLUTEN FREE. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE - you don't want to get sick!! I can't stress it enough! What a disappointment for a place that says they are celiac friendly and even has a gf menu!!! Don't take the risk!!!!!!!

Great gluten free sandwich options. They have Udi's bread and will make you anything off the menu.

Great hot spot in the downtown area. Cute outside patio. Mostly shaded by huge oak trees. Coquille St. Jacques was a very good dish. My daughter ordered a Baha chicken bowl she liked it but said the chicken was dry. My husband had Mahi-mahi. It was blackened and cooked very well. He thought it was delicious. The gf version of this dish did not come with the crab cake which my husband truly missed. To be frank, he felt they should have substituted it for something- more fish or shrimp etc. as the price remained the same. Good service. We will visit this establishment again.
