You can follow my reviews and sense a pattern. I travel for work, and am always trying to not stick out with my "special" diet -- and try to accommodate others within a certain safety limit. We were staying very close to this cafe, we were tired, had a huge lunch at Tasca, and no one felt like going to far to find a meal. McDonalds was out of the question. I talked to the wait staff first about gf, and they pointed out what they could do. I feel like it was only one or two items. I ended up with the Salad Frisse and coconut sorbet for dessert. It was perfect for what I needed at the time, something light. I did not get sick. Did I take a slight risk...probably, but it was okay. I might shy away from other "cooked" things. Also, very close to the Metro station (Le Motte-Picquet Grenelle). I think they have improved their offering. Some of the old reviews on yelp/google complain about this place, but the more recent reviews are much better -- if you have a mixed party of gf/non gf eaters. It isn't a Le Saotico experience, but it was fine for what was needed. It is on a very busy street corner, and you can drink and be outside...so if you just want to people watch, this would be a great location to do that!
