Review of Cafe Pescatore

We visited for lunch due to the good ratings on here. They have a dedicated gluten free menu, but were out of one of the items that we wanted. Two of our dishes from the gluten free menu were supposed to come with french fries, but after asking our server we found out they are made in a shared fryer with other gluten items. They did not seem to be aware of cross-contamination at all. The restaurant was mostly empty and our food took forever to come out. My wife’s appetizer came out after her entree. The food tasted okay, but my daughter and I both felt sick for hours after lunch, so we are assuming some significant cross-contamination took place. We will not be coming back to this restaurant.
