My son has celiac and loves the certified gluten free cheese pizza. We go there often and staff seems very knowledgable. Their website also provides their carb count which makes it a lot easier since we deal with type 1 diabetes as well. Took us a while to go there because of their reviews. Hopefully, my review will encourage others to give it a try.
I got the gf BBQ chicken pizza. I thought it was good. The crust was soft, which for me was a good change from all other gf crust being like cardboard. I will be back.
Worst gluten free pizza I've have so far. Paid $14.23 for the gluten free pepperoni. The crust tasted like powder in my mouth and they were skimpy on toppings. Had to ask for more pepperonis. And to top it off my stomach was not okay. I'm gluten intolerant so I definitely would say no for those with celiac.
Got a gluten-free menu and ordered off of it and even pointed to the gluten-free menu as We ordered and the waiter punched in a regular pizza. After eating a slice we asked to confirm that it was gluten-free and he said no. He then argued with us that we had not ordered gluten-free until we reminded him we were pointing at the gluten-free menu. He did not seem to understand how devastating it was to Have eaten the pizza and said at least it was only one slice and he would try to get it taken off our bill. We were in complete shock I had not eaten gluten in almost 10 years other than unavoidable cross-contamination He did get it taken off the bill and offered to give us a new pizza which we declined. The waiter was apologetic in the end however the manager didn't even come over and apologize or check in with us and I heard him tell her what happened, terrible customer service. We will not be going here again. Beware!!!
Gf pizza has returned!
GF crust was discontinued "temporarily" and has never returned (2012).
My son who has Celiac frequently orders their gluten free BBQ chicken pizza and has not had any adverse reactions to it. We always tell them that he has Celiac so that they will be extra careful. When we order it to go, it comes in a box with a sticker on it that says “Certified Gluten Free.”
They do offer certified gluten free options now! They have several pizza options, as well as a cauliflower crust (which is delicious). Hostess and server knew what they were talking about, service was great. Might have been the best gf pizza I ever had. Not to mention the refreshing mocktails. Never been there before, but I’m a fan now.
They have a dedicated space and dedicated toppings for gluten free pizzas. The crust is a little better than typical gluten free crust. The toppings are pretty good as well. Doesn't even come close to gluten free pizza in Rome but it will satisfy a craving in a pinch.
If you are in the mood for a pizza while in Hawaii, try them out for a quick bite. Our server was very knowledgeable and had a separate gluten free menu. I always love their original barbecue chicken pizza. You can get it in a g-free crust or (as the server suggested) the g-free cauliflower crust. It was delicious and I felt great!
Small dedicated GF/Celiac menu (4 pizzas), BUT with peace of mind as they are the four that adhere to the strict protocol to avoid cross contamination. (They can make their other pizzas on a GF crust or their new cauliflower crust, but cannot guarantee no CC). I had the BBQ Chicken Pizza with Avocado and Pineapple along with a GF Apple Cider - and it was so good! Server was friendly and knowledgeable, reasonable pricing too.
I have eaten here many times without a problem. Pizza is great and staff is knowledgeable. Wish they had gluten free bread, though
I have celiac disease and became sick after eating here. I was uncomfortable when the waiter had food particles all over him. I explained that I was ordering off the gluten free menu due to celiac disease and a severe wheat allergy. I also asked if the policies that I am aware of from other locations were followed here such as change to blue gloves, separate storage, prep area, and pizza delivered by manager. He assured me all policies would be followed. The pizza was brought out by the hostess and it h a toothpick marked gluten free. I didn’t eat anything else that day, brought my own bottled drink, and didn’t use their silverware. The GF margherita pizza was delicious, but not worth the severe sickness.
They have very strict safety procedures for preparing their gf pizza and they have partnered with the gluten intolerance group to develop these. Check out info available online. There are three gf pizza choices and a few other menu options. My child with celiac did not get sick and pizza is yummy.
I ordered the gf mushroom, pepperoni and sausage pizza to go. The pizza crust was burned and wasn't very good. The crust had a sweetness to it which was strange paired with the mushrooms, pepperoni and sausage. If I ever go back I'll ask that the crust be undercooked.
They have 4 pizzas that are gluten free and safe for people with celiac. Next month they’ll have the option of regular gf crust or cauliflower crust. I ordered the bbq chicken, and it was quite good. Less than five minutes after ordering off the GF menu and telling the waitress it’s an intolerance and not a preference, she brought bread to the table and placed right in front of me.
chef came over personally to deliver the bbq chicken pizza and manager came afterwards to even check on it- beyond thrilled! ask for the crust well done
Great experience. Knowledgeable about gluten "allergy" and necessary procedures to decrease risk of cross contact. For example, toppings for gf pizzas stored separately and blue gloves are worn when assembling gf pizzas. Our server was exceptionally kind and careful. The margherita pizza was delicious! We experienced no symptoms and ordered a second pepperoni pizza for take out. Our server even opened new carton of take out boxes. My sons said the pepperoni pizza was great, too!
We've eaten at other restaurants from this chain and the wait staff has always been really good. Tonight we asked out waitress about the certified gluten free pizza and she was very snooty telling us that we only had 4 to choose from and nothing else- which was fine. Then she brought bread and oil and a salad full of croutons 😣 Luckily, the pizza was prepared with the care it required. So service was disappointing but pizza was great. Just gotta be on your toes.
Went there a few times when in town before being diagnosed with Celiac, but afterwards has become the go to restaurant to go to. Their GF pizza is absolutely delicious! It is the best GF pizza I've had & would rank it as a top tier overall pizza. They regularly mark the pizza with an allergy warning toothpick & bring out separate from other orders at table while wearing gloves. Only drawback is the options for other GF items is limited.
In terms of GF pizza, CPK is great. They have the GF pizza prepared separately, and the staff seem very knowledgeable about the whole “gluten free” and “celiac” thing. If you’re going there looking for something other than pizza, that’s when you’ll be disappointed. They don’t have many other options if you are strictly gluten free. If “gluten free” is only a preference, then they can adjust several of the items on the main menu to accommodate that, but it won’t be prepared separately. The GF pizza seems to be the only main dish that’s 100% gluten free, but it’s definitely worth it! -Their pizza was my brother’s favorite out of all the other GF pizzas we’ve tried- and that’s saying something. (Their strawberry cooler, by the way, is absolutely delicious, too.)
