Excellent food and phenomenally bread. Although they don’t have a gf menu the waiters were very knowledgeable. Good value too

Food is tasty and atmosphere festive, but I’m not going back. The waiter seemed to wrack his memory to determine if my choices were gluten free and never once asked the chef. Once he “remembered,” he offered complete assurance my choices were gluten free without contamination. The abdominal pain that started within several hours tells me otherwise. I won’t go again. If forced to, I’d bring a Nima sensor and test everything or insist on speaking with a chef.

I was very disappointed with my experience here and won’t be going back. I spoke with the hostess about my dietary needs before sitting down and she said she would relay the message to our server - she did not. When I spoke with the server about my gf needs, he did not take them seriously. He didn’t know what was gf on the menu, would shrug and tell me “I think it’s gf”, and more than once, when I asked if he could confirm, he went to ask the chef and never returned. If I wasn’t with a group, I would have walked out. They need to implement better protocols/processes, so the experience is not so dependent on your waiter. The food might be delicious and totally safe, but if I can’t order with confidence then it doesn’t matter.

My favorite place in the city. The bread they bring is gf! Make a res for brunch and enjoy the bottomless sangria. I just love everything about Calle Ocho; it's delicious and celiac friendly and sexy and perfect.

OMG this place is such a find! Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, one waitress has celiac and came over to explain everything to me. The bread they bring (to everyone) is GF and addicitve. The menu was creative and still true to its Latin roots.I'm a sensitive celiac and had no issues whatsoever. Can't wait to go back.

While technically not a gluten fee restaurant, they have gf items. They should take next step and set up gluten free menu as well as separate part of kitchen, separate cooking supplies and train staff. They could make a lot more money with gf certification with very little extra cost or energy

Mostly gluten free menu. Good bread made of yucca flour to start off with. Good selection of Cerviche.
