I ordered the beef chaufa gluten free. Informed waitress of my allergy. It’s on the menu as modifiable to be GF. It most definitely was not GF. Really disappointed, used to love this place when I didn’t have to be GF. If I ever go back I’ll just order a salad.
They do have an allergy menu, which was *helpful*

I love their Vacca Frita, plantains, rice, and beans. I also really enjoy their 1205 salad with sherry vinaigrette dressing. I have Celiac and had no reaction.

They have an allergen menu, most of the waitstaff is knowledgeable, I always have them check with the chef. They have a cafeteria for lunch which is almost always 100% gf

We were the first people to be served when they opened for the day and I immediately requested GF menus. Our waiter was kind, however it didn’t seem like he knew much of what was GF or not, only guessing and I had to cross check with their “allergy menu”. When I did, many items he said were Gf were actually not (red flag #1). We decided to go the safe route and just order the classic ceviche with rice and beans on the side. Ceviche came out with fried plantain chips (shared fryer) as the waiter was saying he “forgot to tell the chef about the gluten allergy” (MAJOR red flag #2). That did it for us and we just left. We took the food as I am able to eat it but my boyfriend has celiac and cannot. Will not be returning as they clearly do not take allergies or dietary restrictions seriously.

Ceviches were delicious and they had a separate allergy menu to cross reference any menu option. Great authentic ambiance and service. Highly recommend!

Read about Calle Sol opening and was really excited to check it out. I’m GF and was already dealing with a reaction from a different establishment so I very careful. Our server was fantastic. She was friendly and knowledgeable and brought me an allergen list so I knew what was safe. The ceviche was excellent as was my salad. I look forward to trying more of the menu.
