Fantastic bakery. We have loved everything we tried… including the breakfast sandwiches with cheese bagels, muffins, carrot cake (best I’ve had including gluten-containing), tarts and more. All soooooooo good. Spectacular! I only wish we lived closer. We will definitely make stopping here a priority when we are near Barrie. Highly recommend!!!

Dedicated gluten-free bakery and café that's 100% safe and delicious. I love their cakes especially. And their donuts are basically single serving cakes with icing!

They also import treats like gluten-free panettone and petit beurre crackers.

I'm Celiac and was so happy to be able to grab a slice of pizza for lunch! Haven't been able to do that for decades! The pizza was delicious and not crazy expensive! My husband (not celiac) wanted it, too, and really liked it. Wish I lived closer!

It's amazing! Delicious treats like hand pies, lemon squares, brownies, and way, way more! It's amazing! I'd recommend this for anyone with celiac because he entire kitchen is gluten free with celiac owners that understand, and you can even see the food being made! Really nice people too.

This is a must stop in Barrie! We make sure to stop every time we are driving through. They have amazing wraps, pizza, bread and desserts. It's a dedicated facility and they're always coming out with something new and delicious.

Very poor service and selection. Prices higher for some items that can also be bought in the grocery store. Only positive is everything is gluten free.

So sorry your experience with us was not a positive one. As for the higher prices, we are a family run business and do not have the buying power a multi million dollar company does, so our prices maybe a little higher. We make most of our products from scratch and we try to keep them reasonably priced. Everything has gone up do to inflation and as much as we would like to be immune to the increasing costs, we are not. Hopefully you have enjoyed the products you did get. We do strive to have great customer service and provide a positive experience to all but we are humam and have bad days too.

Best gluten free bakery in Barrie! Breakfast sandwiches and wraps available all day as well as baked treats. Lots of options in the freezer section. Great fresh bread options as well!

Best gluten free bakery I have found! Many fresh baked goods, now has the best gf bread. Dedicated facility. Many frozen treats and Chinese food! Also carried beyond meat products. Many items are dairy free as well!!

Someone gave them 1 star for products brought in.. and she has a legume allergy.. very disappointed to see a bad review on not even Cal’s baking.. I’ve give them 10 stars if I could!!

Not Gluten Free. They make gluten items in the kitchen and I ate a loaf that was supposed to be gluten free, but it had gluten via cross contamination. Needless to say I was very unwell. Gluten contamination was verified by testing and a specialist and I had not eaten out anywhere else for weeks.

The staff inside are amazingly friendly, knowledgeable, and just a delight! They are willing to accommodate customers who come from further away. They are fantastic for order taking and I’m in there often. They remember everyone’s name!!

Amazing! The chicken caesar wraps are chewy and they have lemon cheesecake! GF frozen to go - Sheppard's pie, mac and cheese, stuffed ravioli, dumplings and lots more. Everything is colour coded for vegan or dairy-free. Will be back!

Amazing dedicated gf bakery and cafe. Love that on the door there is even a sign that says “no outside food permitted.” Daughter had a delicious chicken wrap, I had a BLT on a sesame bagel. Brought home 12 doughnuts too. Owner spent time chatting with us. Super nice person. We will be back!

I was VERY impressed with the GF selection and taste! Their unique recipe they use for their Gf flour blend makes their baked goods taste like real flour treats! I will make sure to go back every time I head up north! You need to try their brownie! Wow!

Everything is gluten free. I’ve been twice now. The Carrot Cake Trifle is beyond amazeballs!! The Chicken Caesar wrap was delicious! Soft, warm, tasty and doesn’t fall apart. The filling was fantastic too! I bought frozen perogies, and ravioli, as well as a couple donuts.

This place is the BEST in Barrie! They are dedicated gluten free and also have multiple vegan products! I LOVE that they bring in bagels and other bread products from Nate’s Bagels in Vaughn, another dedicated gluten free bakery! I no longer have to drive so far to get my fix!! I was there today and OMG the donuts are to die for!!!

Unlike other places, Cals bakes and makes the majority of their products on site and they are delicious ! I’m not sure why, but the products I bought here made me sick. They were products that were brought in and not made on the premises. I will go back and try something that they have made them selves.

Amazing products, I was used to eating sand when I tried GF products, but at Cal’s everything is spectacular! The tea biscuits are amazing, they made me a GF/Vegan birthday cake and my guests had no idea-they loved it!!!! The coffee is also great paired with their awesome muffins!!!

Cal's is the best! They know about Celiac as his wife is. Also has Vegan options. Makes the best pies and Donuts. Also carries frozen food from the Gluten free line that the Beansprout makes in Toronto which are known for their gluten free buffet. Cals makes excellent savory items as well such as perogies and pizza shells. Can't say enough about Cals.

Cal’s Bakery is an amazing choice when looking to feel at ease buying dedicated gluten free. He offers so many yummy products and helps you with ways to prepare a dish at home too! I have a peanut allergy as well, but have no concern there, as he is stringent in his cleaning and cross contamination protocols. A must try!!

Went to Cal's Bakery again today...AMAZING! Today I bought some panzerottis, wraps, donuts, ravioli and some squares. Everything is amazing. My daughter has celiac disease amd every time she's eaten from here she has had a great experience. She is also allergic to nuts and peanuts. She eats here with confidence knowing there is no cross contamination. I highly recommend Cal's. The food is amazing and the customer service is just as great.
