Pretty decent number of GF options, dishes come out flagged. Mock tail selection, which my kid and I always appreciate. Service is friendly and the owner came to check on us, saw that my kid wasn’t finishing his meal enthusiastically and offered to get him something else which was amazing!! Would definitely recommend.

Amazing food! I had the elk burger, hubs had the buffalo and we shared! Both gluten free (I have celiac.) So far so good, do not expect any issues! The owner, incredibly sweet, came out to check on us- the server was excellent as well! Definitely recommend! ♥

Many gluten free options. As long as you share with the waiter to be careful with preventing cross contamination, they seem knowledgeable. Always a positive experience. Really happy to be able to come here and eat safely!

The surcharge for gluten free pasta was 4.50 but it was very good. The kitchen and wait staff are highly knowledgeable. I definitely recommend especially for anyone with high gluten sensitivity.

Very safe! Many menu items marked as gluten free option, and our server knew exactly what to do to make sure things were gf. Food came out with a marker which I always appreciate! Also delicious- I had the blue corn enchiladas.

Love this place, I have eaten here twice and as a celiac I have never gotten sick. Their menu is clearly marked, but do tell your waitress/waiter if you are celiac. They also have a great selection of vegan food. They even have a GF chocolate raspberry cake (vegan) and a GF crème brûlée, it is amazing and has chocolate under the crème brûlée. The waitress was very helpful and told me not to eat my husbands tortilla chips/queso because they are not GF. They do have some other appetizers for celiacs, I got the salad and the vegetarian (jackfruit/potato) tamales, what a treat to have vegetarian tamales.

I had a great experience at Camp Robber! The host was immediately helpful with showing me gluten-free options and telling me that the kitchen takes great care with preparing gluten-free items. The server was extremely knowledgeable and was able to tell me how to order so that nothing could potentially make me sick. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food! I had the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans- delish!

Staff is very knowledgable. Chips are not celiac safe. I’m not celiac so we ordered the nachos as an appetizer. Burgers had Udi’s buns. Everything on the menu is labeled if it has a gf option. Sweet potato fries were great (not celiac safe though). Tons of other gf options (enchiladas, past, etc). But the BEST part was the chocolate raspberry cake. Sooo good and not only gf but vegan as well! We ordered 2!

My wife and I travel through Montrose at least twice every year. Each time we pass through we have either lunch or dinner at Camp Robber. The owner (Kim) started her GF menu items in order to allow a close celiac friend to safely enjoy dinning in her restaurant.

I’m a regular at Camp Robber. They have a pretty knowledgeable staff & they’ve always asked me if I have a gluten allergy when I order, what’s neat is they also offer vegetarian options. They know what is cross contaminated in the fryer and will recommend other items. I love that there’s a wide selection of gluten free options available so I don’t get bored eating the same thing over and over and there is even 2 dessert options. My favorite options are the GF chicken quesadillas, GF chicken enchiladas, steak salad and the chocolate raspberry cake! I’ve had the burger no problem too.

Picked from Find Me gf - ordered the Blue Corn Enchilada with GF option. Wonderful flavor, quickly arrived at our outside seating and no post meal reactions. The manager came to our table asking how the food and service was. Replied super on both fronts. This is one of the few GF restaurants that should not be passed over by residents of Montrose or vacationers. Many items on the menu have a GF option.

Had a great dinner! They were able to make the dish I wanted gluten free and it was delicious. I even tried the chocolate raspberry cake and shared it with my family. They were all impressed and wouldn’t have thought it was gluten free!

Eaten here twice recently. Had hamburger on a plate (no bun) with all the fixings the first time. The second time I had a cobb salad. Delicious both times. I am also doing keto so did not want the gf bun that was offered.

I have eaten here quite often and have never had a cross contamination reaction. They are very knowledgeable about what is available for celiac and will adjust just about any menu item they can to make something celiac friendly as needed.

Amazing restaurant with knowledgeable staff, wonderful waitress Jane totally understood GF and concept of cross contamination risk. Stay away from fries, fryer not dedicated.
I called and emailed with this place a few times before I went. I was going to be in town for just a couple days and usually bring my own food so I don't risk having a reaction when I'm away from home. I am super sensitive, and they answered all my questions correctly. The fryer is not safe, but there's a huge selection of gf items on a special menu. They don't have dedicated equipment except for porous stuff like cutting boards which are separate.
They were able to make a couple different vegan options too, and we're happy to customize everything based on additional allergens. And there was even a gf vegan dessert (chocolate raspberry cake) which was the richest dessert I've had in years. It was amazing and I almost took a second piece to go.
Waited a few days to write this review to make sure I didn't jump the gun with my excitement. This place definitely didn't make me sick, and I had a really nice dinner with family. I hope I have a reason to travel to montrose again soon, so I can go back.
Accessibility notes: they were wheelchair friendly (including the bathroom). It was a little loud at times, and the lighting at dinner was very dim. There's plenty of space between tables in the section we were in for larger bodies and mobility devices.
Yes
They have a pretty good gf menu with clear explanation that they don't have a dedicated fryer.
Yes
They have a separate G/F menu ... just ask
I had the blue corn enchiladas. It was a corn tortilla topped with chicken, onion, a little cheese and another tortilla. It was NOT enchiladas by any stretch of the imagination. The side looked like beans, corn, and ketchup. Gross. The GF choices are very limited.
Great service, knowledgeable and friendly staff, decent gluten free menu, really good blue corn enchiladas.
Excellent gluten free menu. Friendly, helpful staff.
